A New Color and Almost Back

So... The title's pretty straight forward but it doesn't really matter, right? BTW, I've got so many things to tell you guys and I just can't wait to start blogging regularly again. So why the  hell did I disappear for a few weeks? BLAME the flood and the PLDT DSL connection. Well, as some of you may have known, our area was declared to be in a state of calamity and things have been really messy. But when the flood started to go down and the electricity's back up again, our DSL connection's still messed up and WE DON'T HAVE ANY INTERNET CONNECTION (HELLO PLDT DSL! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?) FOR ALMOST A MONTH NOW. And we're actually planning on going back to Broadband again. Any recommendations?

For my Blog Giveaway Winners, your prizes are safe and sound and I will ship your winnings ASAP. I'm fixing my stuff and work area little by little and I'm gonna be done soon. I'm really sorry for the delay. But rest assured, you'll get your prizes. Thank you so much for still visiting my blog and supporting it despite of my almost a month long absent.

UPDATE: I have a new hair color. So, we don't have internet connection so all I can do at home was play Sims, fix my stuff and watch movies. I got bored and dropped by HBC to buy some hair coloring stuff and decided to color my hair using the Mondes Low Amonia Hair Coloring Cream.

Quick Review and Tutorial:

It's actually quite easy to use and it didn't give me any itch. However, it smells just like any normal salon hair coloring stuff so the scent isn't very pleasing; but the result was nice. It gave my hair a nice violet color and I loved it. But you can't use the hair coloring cream by itself. Since I don't have any white hair, they recommended me to use the HBC Oxidizing Lotion 9% and I mixed it with the Hair Coloring Cream. I used a thin comb and a small mixer for my tools. Make sure you've got plastic gloves and your shirt's ready to get all messy.

After applying the hair color, I used the Hortaleza Professional  Black Pelan Hair Treatment. It left my hair soft afterwards. If you're patient enough and love hair coloring as much as I do, this will satisfy you. Though I do wish they'd have a wider range of colors because I'm so itching to color my hair again next time.

Before and After Photos:

I had my hair colored (DIY-style) for less than P200.00. Pretty awesome, right?

And then things got pretty messed up (not in a bad way, though). I went to Reyes Hair Cutters to get a hair cut and they noticed that my hair's drying up a bit. So, they recommended me to try their Keratin treatment. I bought one for P120 and used it at home. However, after washing up, I noticed some of my color went away with the water and it gave my hair a new color - I'm a red-head again. Crazy and not what I wanted but it's a pretty good color and it still looked nice on me. However, I'm still not done with violet. ): I guess the Keratin treatment washed off the excess hair color. Oh, well! And now, here's what it looks like:

I'm going back to blogging soon so, please do wait for me, okay? I've got lots of stuff to blog. Till next post guys and thanks again! ;)

  1. Gel, they don't really recommend keratin for color-treated hair. But I use a shampoo with keratin and I love it! Medyo expensive lang. Not really, but I'm too cheap. Haha!

    1. Ganda nung effect ng Keratin treatment sa hair ko, kaso kinupas niya talaga yung kulay. Haha! Mali yung recommendation sa akin dun sa Reyes Hair Cutters. But will color my hair again next month. Hindi na ako magkakamali. xD
