Because We're Girls and We're into Girlstuff... Does it Make Sense?

Me in a date:

GUY: So what kind of things are you into?

ME: Umm... *Scratches Head* Well, I’m into makeup, fashion, accessories, nail polishes... You know girl stuff...

A few years back I might say video games or photography or just some geeky stuff I used (and sometimes still do) enjoy every once in awhile.  But I have no regrets that I have become this girly girl I never thought I’d be. Honestly, I like the new me. Beauty blogging has opened a lot of opportunities for me and I have met awesome friends along the way. These girl stuff are the things that have helped me become a better version of myself. Don’t get me wrong, I still have the geeky me inside but outside, I’m so totally 100% a girly girl.

And because I’m into girly stuff now, it’s my responsibility to keep my interests and budget intact. There would be tons of good beauty products out there who would so dearly kill your budget but they are said to be all worth it. But what if you can find a good local brand which promises you the same quality but for a lesser price?

Keep dreaming!

I know, right? But hey, when I was contacted to try out the new nail polish products from Girl Stuff, I said to myself, “Let’s give this a test run then!” I’ve seen Girl Stuff before but I don’t remember them having this much nail polish products. I’m not complaining; I’m actually all giddy and excited when I found out about this news.

The Girlstuff Brand only carries non-toxic and carcinogenic-free nail polishes, which are imported from France and bottled in Manila. It’s Formaldehyde-free, Toluene-free and DBP-free. Okay, I know what’s running in your mind right now: What are these stuff? Well, I hope you don’t mind but you can Google ‘em ‘ya know! Hahahaha! I might interpret or explain them differently so I hope you’d take the time to Google this on your own. LOL

So there I was, visiting the Girl Stuff booth at SM North Edsa (2nd Floor across Barrio Fiesta) and I was greeted by the warm smiles of the Girl Stuff ladies, Mary Rose and Hazel. Mary Rose was the one who introduced me the nail polish products of Girl Stuff but as she was preparing my loot, I actually asked Hazel a few questions about the brand.

So what did I get?

(3) Girlstuff formaldehyde-free nail polish in shades Nina, Flirt and Sparkling Blue

(2) Girlstuff magnetic nail polish in shades Ice Queen (Parallel) and Vixen (Spiral)

(1) Washable Nail Polish in Fuchsia Pink shade

I’d be using these nail polishes soon and will tell you my verdict. So what do you think should I give a try first? Tell me your thoughts and suggestions at the comments section below.

Till next post!
