Women in Tech Goes to F*ART (Fashion + Art)

One of my personal advocacies, which I often write about in my blog is about women empowerment. I believe that women can do great things. A woman can be  a mother, a wife, a successful career woman, an entrepreneur, a leader, and so much more. I, myself, feel the need to become an inspiring and influential woman in my time and even though I'm not at that ultimate level yet, I would love my blog to be a source of inspiration and strength to women who enjoys visiting here every once in awhile.

My blog is not just about beauty and fashion. There is so much more here than that. With my every FOTD and OOTD, I would also share my personal experiences and what I have learned in life. I am not an expert in living it but what I can impart is the things that my every action has taught me. I have stumbled, fell, but have managed to stand up again and continue walking.

When I was invited by Viva Andrada to join the Women in Tech group and, eventually, the gathering last November 27, 2014, I just couldn't say no. I mean, I will be meeting and networking with empowered women who stops at nothing to reach their dreams, their goals and become an inspiration to influence fellow women that we can be whatever we want to be if we would just believe in ourselves and work hard for what we want to achieve.

And so, I travelled all the way from Pampanga just to meet the amazing Women in Tech at the F*ART Fashion + Art in Kamuning, Quezon City. The gathering was hosted by the vivacious Viva Andrada and was organized by one of the gurus of Philippine Digital Marketing, Janette Toral.

Chat. Chat. Eat. Chat. Shop (window shop for me). Eat. More Chat.

It was a morning filled with talking and getting to know each other - what we do for a living, how we use modern technology in our everyday lives, businesses and jobs, and also extending help and opportunities for partnering and working with each other.

Isn't it nice when you get to meet women who are very empowered and passionate about what they do?
