Because I finally have a lot of time to rest and do my makeup before I go to work, I’m back to experimenting and trying out new makeup looks. I guess you’ll see more makeup look posts again in my blog. Is that something you’re looking forward to? I hope so.
For this makeup look, I opted to go a bit heavy on the
eyes then going softer down. Let’s start?
PRODUCTS USED:
FACE: Banila Co. Prime Primer Blur | Maybelline Fit
Me in Sun Beige (310) | Max Factor Pan Stik in Nouveau Beige | Nichido Final
Powder in Ivory Glow |Happy Skin Shut Up & Kiss Me in First Kiss | Ever
Bilena EB Advance Eyeshadow 5 Shades in Amazing Pink
EYES: Ever Bilena Eyebrow Pencil in Brown | Snoe
Linear Equation Total Line Solution | Urban Decay Naked Palette 3 | Skin
Potions Meow Eyeliner Stamp | Benefit They’re Real Mascara
LIPS: Sleek Matte Me in Birthday Suit
HOW I DID IT:
After moisturizing, I applied the Banila Co. Prime Primer
Blur all over my face. Then, I poured some of the Maybelline Fit Me in Sun
Beige (310) at the back of my hand, dotted it on my face, and then blended
using a beauty sponge. Afterwards, I used the Max Factor Pan Stik in Nouveau
Beige on my undereye area and nose bridge to give it a bit of a glow since it’s
a shade lighter than mine. Then I topped it all off with the Nichido Final
Powder in Ivory Glow.
For the eyes, I first used the Ever Bilena Eyebrow Pencil in
Brown to fill in my brows. Then, I used the Snoe Linear Equation Total Line
Solution to prime my eyes. After that, I used the Factory shade in my Urban
Decay Naked 3 Palette for the crease (a warm brown shade), then the Strange
shade (a matte beige shade), and to further build up the color in the crease
area, I used a slight brush and blend of the Blackheart shade (a matte dark
brown with some glitters). After the eyeshadow part, I used the Skin Potions
Meow Eyeliner Stamp for the wing and brushed some of the Factory shade from the
Urban Decay Palette to my lower lash line. Then I just curled my lashes with my
Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler and then used the Benefit They’re Real Mascara on
them.
For the finishing touches, I used the Happy Skin Shut Up
& Kiss Me in First Kiss as my blush. I know it’s supposed to be for the
lips, but the shade doesn’t really suit me so I just use it as a blush which
totally works. It gives off this natural light pink shade on my skin when
blended. Since my eyes are a bit heavy, I should opt for something lighter on
the other areas. Then, I used the shimmery white shade from my Ever Bilena EB
Advance Eyeshadow 5 Shades in Amazing Pink as a highliter for my cheekbones and
nose bridge. After that, I just swiped the Sleek Matte Me in Birthday Suit and
I’m good to go.
Well, that’s it! Check out the short Boomerang video I uploaded above which is a closer look at my eye makeup. I’m looking forward to doing more makeup
looks inspired by things I’ll be seeing and experiencing along the way. Do you
have any suggestions? Oh and no false eyelashes please. I commute going to work
so I’d love to keep my makeup looks as commute-friendly as possible.
Stunning! Loved it!

You always do your makeup so well! The eyeshadow and the lip colour both compliment each other really well, and compliment your skin well too. I rarely wear eyeshadow to work because it's just an extra step that I really don't have time for haha. But hey! I always do the rest! At least... ;)

You need to teach me how to do a cat eye haha. I've tried so many times and it's just a hot mess! I've literally followed the same make up routine for my whole life. Maybe it's time to shake things up a bit!

This is such a beautiful look on you! The eye and lip color both look so stunning on you!
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job on your makeup, and I love how you broke down the products and steps! Your winged liner looks flawless, I've always been curious about the eyeliner stamps but it looks like they work well!

I'm envious with your eyeliner skills. My hands are too shaky to slay the wings. I can't remember the last time I wore make up though, TBH. Keep up the great work. You're awesome!
ReplyDeleteYou look flawless! My experimentation with make up never turns out this good hahah.
