Skin Food: The Chocolate Makes You More Sweet & Deep

I don’t eat chocolates.

Well it may come as a surprise to some of you but I was never a big fan of chocolates or cakes since I was a kid. Yep, it’s not because I’m on a diet, people! I just never fancied their taste and don’t ask me why because I have no idea as well. But I have tasted chocolates and would sometimes take a bite out of curiosity but then I’d have to drink a glass of water afterwards! LOL! Crazy, I know (because I bet you all love chocolate), but it’s true. Go ask my mom!

So when I received the Skin Food “The Chocolate Makes You More Sweet & Deep” Choco Smoky Lip Color, I told myself, “Maybe this is the kind of chocolate treat I’d like.” This was part of the prize I received from Charles of wickermoss.blogspot.com. I don’t know how I won but I did. I was just informed by blogger friend, Gie (ThirdWorldFashion.wordpress.com) that she received her prized and found out that I have a prize in it too. Thanks Charles and of course, thanks to Gie for delivering the prize. Hehe.

The Good Bits:

The packaging is simple and normal looking, while the labeling is classy. It smells like chocolate, which is fine with me because though I don’t eat chocolates, I do appreciate how good it smells! At first try of the product, I thought it will look completely bad on me but when I finally decided to wear it the other day, it looked pretty fine. It gave me that simple and classy look different from the usual pa-cute look I sport because I’m into pink lippies more. The applicator is the normal kind so please no sharing because it will be very unhygienic! It’s not sticky, which is a plus plus plus to me and although the strength of the product on your lips won’t last really long, it will leave a natural nude looking color on your lips, which is fair enough, I think.

The Bad Bits:

It was hard to apply. It’s creamy and I can’t seem to apply it equally on my upper and lower lips. Well, of course, after some time, I finally did but it was a gruelling task at first. Hahaha! And yes, of course, it won’t last on your lips long but, again, I love the color it left my lips after a meal I had while wearing this.

Over-All:

I love this lip color but it’s not something, which would be fit for my everyday mood for work. Unlike the usual lip colors I’ve been so into, this one is the seasonal type of lip color I’d love and as of now, I’m really into it. I’ve told you that I was a bit doubtful about using this when I initially tried it but then after using it for a whole day, finally, I realized it’s not such a bad shade. I’m giving this product a rating of 7/10. Satisfied but not a holy grail nor something which I would fall in love to every day.
