G-lish Lusterstick

"A little color, a little shimmer, a little shine for perfect lips!" This pretty much describes what the Lustersticks from G-Lish gives you. It is not a lip gloss nor a lipstick. It is kind of like a combination of both.


The Lustersticks are available in 6 shades: Drama Queen, Girl Next Door, Hollywood Glam, Homecoming Queen, Paparazzi and Scene Stealer; and yep, I got the Homecoming Queen. I was excited to try this on because I don't really use lip gloss; but this one looks promising.To use it, you need to turn the bottom part so that it would push the product up and then it would come out of the tip. That's when you can spread it on your lips.


The Good Bits:


First of all it's very affordable. It only costs P80.00. Winner, right?

You know for a fact that I don't like lip glosses because I hate the sticky feeling and all; but this G-Lish Lusterstick is perfect for me. It gives your lips a semi-shine but doesn't feel sticky nor greasy at all. It is easy to apply because of the tip and you won't waste the product because if you need to apply it, just turn the bottom and the product will come out just when you need it. No hassle on squeezing and all.


When I applied this, I didn't use a lip balm because I would want to try if the product alone would dry up my lips and surprisingly it didn't. Even if the color fades, the moisturizing effect and the semi-shine doesn't go away.


The Bad Bits:


The only thing I didn't like about this is that it's not very long-lasting. It lasted on my lips for only 3 hours and then you need to re-apply it again to get the initial strong color it gave you on your first application.

I would definitely buy this product again. It is one of the very few lip gloss-like product I loved plus the color I got is good for an everyday office look. Strong, fierce and yet subtle and responsible; because of that, I'd be giving this product a rating of 8/10. It's a reliable and good product but lacks that lasting effect on your lips.
