Garnier Self-Heating Sauna Mask

I've already used the other dose which explains why it looks like it has been cut

I have tried masks and I would want to see which one would work on me. The best one I've tried so far is the Charcoal and Cypress Facial Mask from Beauty Buffet; but too bad because the Watsons store I often go to doesn't have any stock for it anymore. Boo! So I need a mask replacement and I happened to see this one from Garnier. I was quite curious because it's self-heating and it has claims of removing impurities, and excess sebum to unclog pores and refine the texture of the facial skin. Sounds promising right?

It says in the pack that the formula generates self-heating action on contact with the skin. It is specially developed with clay and zinc which will do its skin purifying claims.

The Good Bits:

True enough, when it first touches my skin, I felt the sudden heat. When you feel a sensation upon application of a product, you know it will work. You need not to worry if the mask will fit your face or not because this is made out of clay and zinc, so you just need to spread it evenly on your face. Convenient, huh?

Feeling like a smurf today? It's blueee!

Its promises are amazing and I want to try this regularly. For only P49.00, you get to have 2 doses of this facial mask and you only need to use it once or two times a week for only 3 minutes. It will save you a lot of time and money.

The Bad Bits:

Again, it's the availability I'm worried; because I would want to re-purchase it. Oh and another thing I didn't like about this product is its scent. It smells like the juice you get from leaves. Does that mean it is really organic or whatever?

Over-All:

I need more time to try this product; but so far it only does good on my skin, so I'm giving it an early rating of 9/10. Just please do something about the scent. I'm not enjoying it much. Nevertheless, good product and will definitely recommend and re-purchase.

  1. Maybe the reason why it has that scent, maybe because of garnier image? LOL I love garnier..

  4. Nice review. Is the scent somewhat grassy? I wanted to try this but I've had a bad history with Garnier. Pure Derm has a self-heating mask too which smells nice. :)

  7. Whenever I use self-heating masks, I feel like my skin is gonna get so clean right after. I have tried the Montagne Jeunesse with vanilla scent before (it smells so delicious!), and I would also like to try this one. Thanks for this review!
