Celeteque DermoScience+ Acne Cleansing Gel

"I got a pocket, got a pocketful of sunshine, I got a love and I know that it's all mine ohhh... NO!"

I was like that last week as I was singing to the tune of Pocketful of Sunshine, imitating Emma Stone's dance moves. I just woke up and headed straight to the bathroom and when I looked in the mirror, I was shocked to see those plump little devils called... ZITS! I have somewhere I need to be on the weekends so I can't let these freakin' zits make me look like a walking acne-faced girl. So, as soon as my work was done at the office, I headed straight to Watsons at SM Valenzuela to look for an affordable solution to my zits.

Actually, I was planning on buying those which will dry up your zits overnight, but I fear that the services of that product stops there. So, I figured, I should buy a product from a brand I trust and Celeteque came into my mind.

Its thick formulation
For about six months now, I have been loyally using Celeteque products because it has taken care of my skin really well. The reason why I've had zits last week was because I have forgotten to remove my makeup before I sleep. I  always ended up sleeping at the sofa due to stress; thus, I when I wake up the makeup is still there, and my pores are all clogged up.

The Good Bits:
Using the Celeteque Acne Cleansing Gel

The Celeteque DermoScience+ Acne Cleansing Gel has Hydroxy Acids as this helps the skin slough off dead cells to reveal new skin underneath. This also has Salicylic Acid which exfoliates the skin and reduces blemishes and acne breakouts. This also has the promise of reducing excess oil to make the skin look clean, smooth and healthy. So far, this has done nothing but pure goodness on my skin. It really did reduced the oiliness of my skin and the best this was, it dried up my zits! After less than a week of using, they're almost gone. It doesn't have a scent, it's hypo-allergenic and non-comodogenic.

The Bad Bits:

Some people I know have had breakouts with Celeteque and it's because the formulation may be too strong for their skin. So once allergic reactions occur, visit your skin doctor as soon as possible and stop the product.

Over-All:

BEFORE and AFTER 3 Days of using the product

BEFORE and AFTER 3 Days of using the product
This product worked well on my skin and I would recommend it if you think your skin isn't very sensitive. Personally, I'm giving this product a rating of 8/10. As it has worked well on my skin and I'm definitely using this continuously. Again, only problem is that it comes off too strong to people who has sensitive skin which is its only con.

  7. I'm not sure where I'm getting my breakouts. Huhu. I use Celeteque moisturizer and toner from the new hydration line and Etude House cleansing foam (pero ubos na kaya back to Pond's ako). Nung gumagamit ako ng Celeteque old formulation na moisturizer and Dickinson's Witch Hazel toner naclear naman face ko. Pero puyat ako the past month, so. Wala nagramble lang ako. :))

  8. @MereMakeupManiac - How does Avene Cleanance working for you? :)

@Cherie - No prob! I'm in love with Celeteque now :)

@Janine - Haha! Paisa-isa lang gamit para malaman mo kung ano nagiging cause ng breakouts mo. Yan mahirap sa ating beauty bloggers, sa sobrang dami nang tintry, nakakalito what gave u breakouts. lol

  9. wow very nice post Gellie. Pero si Bianca sabi niya nagbreak out naman daw siya sa Celeteque. Hmm siguro it depends padin on the different skin types.

  10. @Yna - Thanks Yna! I know some people who've had breakouts from Celeteque, like Bianca nga, and sa iba na nagwork. So, yah, depende talaga sa skin types and sometimes, u really need to take the risk para malaman mo which will work for you and I'm glad Celeteque worked for me :)
