Haven't posted a Nail Of The Week for such a long time! I have been super lazy into doing my nails these past few days and it's all because of how stressful things are at work. Believe me, I haven't been putting makeup on too. I just go to work with my Sunblock, loose powder and lip balm. Pretty bare, huh? Well I'm kind of used to this kind of look. I always wake up late so no more time to put my makeup on. So, I decided to do something simple to my nails to match my everyday look now.
As most of you know, I have been buying nail polishes from Nature Republic. They're inexpensive and I like their brushes. They're big enough so you can apply 'em easily on your lovely nails. I cut my nails short and cleaned them and then, of course, applied my base coat, then the nail polish. Although this time, I'm doing something different.
During the Cosmetologie 2012, I bought myself the Kleancolors Madly Matte Finisher. I love matte on my nails; but the only problem is that the matte nail polishes I have previously bought, dries easily while I'm still on the process of applying them on my nails. So, I am looking for a good and inexpensive matte top coat. Thank God I found this! I'm gonna post my review on a separate blog post since this post is for the the look on my nail.
The Kleancolors Matte Finisher doesn't really do a dramatic change when applied on my Nature Republic BR901 shade since the nail polish is not really glossy but more of shimmery. The change, however, was with the texture. I love the texture of matte nail polishes. I can't stop touching my nails! LOL
I'm so happy with my nail color for the week. They're clean and neat and definitely something refreshing from my usual dots and stuff. What do you think of this simple nail color? Do you love 'em or you prefer something loud? Share me your thoughts at the comments section below.

ReplyDeletei mostly use matte nail polishes when i'm trying to draw a design on nails (usually not mine). i find them really nice to work with because they dry easily and it's not really that messy.
