The Voice Season 2 Premiere Will Rock your Night!

It has a fresh new concept and I totally dig it! February is going to be epic on AXN as The Voice Season 2 will premiere today, February 6, 2012. Haven't heard of the show? Well, you must be hiding under a shell 'cos it's the reality singing contest which totally shows how it all should be done. I remember when I first watched season 1 with my family and me and my dad had our bodies turned away from the TV then we look if we like what we hear. We're acting like judges and then guess who the contestant will be picking as their mentor once everyone turns their chair.


The Voice offers aspiring singers the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be mentored by celebrity coaches. For season 2, Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine, Cee Lo, and Blake Shelton returns with their sizzling chemistry and their trademark red swiveling chairs to judge the contestants not by their look but by only their voice; hence the title. Get it? For this season, show producer, Mark Burnett has added more rounds of blind auditions and each of the celebrity coach's team will be expanded to 12 singers each. Now this would more fun! 


What happened to the season 1 winners? Well, of course they're doing great! Being judged by their voices means they TRULY have the talent. Season 1 winner, Javier Colon has released a new album in collaboration with Natasha Bedingfield and his celebrity coach, the hot and sexy, Adam Levine. Dia Frampton, the show's first runner-up has also launched her album with the help of her coach, Blake Shelton. Beverly Mclellan of Team Xtina and Vicci Martinez from Cee Lo's team have also begun recording their albums after the show ended.

And be sure to keep your eyes peeled for new songs from the celebrity coaches themselves. As a lot of you may have known, Shelton's Honey Bee, a country chart topper and Maroon5 and Christina's Moves Like Jagger were launched in the said show. Aguilera teased everyone saying we should all look out for the kickass opening performance by the coaches for this season.
