It's been awhile since my last product review. There have been tons of announcements and surprises coming out so forgive me guys. Anyway, here's one so don't fret. Last month, I went to SM Marilao with my family and I just couldn't stop myself from buying something and this is what my hand grabbed: ELF Wet Gloss Lash & Brow Mascara. After buying it, that's when I realized that I need this. Well, at least, half of it.
"Achieve glossy, shiny, healthy-looking lashes and brows with the infused long wearing conditioning agents in our Wet Gloss Lash & Brow Mascara. Flawless lashes and brows have never been easier." - www.eyeslipsface.com
I actually found one of the best mascaras which could work on my lashes; though I'm still on the look out for another which will volumize and lengthen them at the same. That is why I bought this product with high hopes for my brows instead. I hate my brows actually. I hate the fact that they're so untamed and wouldn't always cooperate. I blame myself for having them shaved in parlors when I was younger and have no idea of how to do those stuff. And now that I am aware of these facts, I need to find a cure!
This product has a dual ended wand which has separate clear mascaras for your brows and lashes.
The Good Bits:
First of all, the packaging is perfect. It can fit in my now small makeup pouch and it's very chic and classy. It comes in plastic so no worries about breaking them. The eyebrow mascara is perfect and I love it. It totally tamed my brows and I use it everyday after filling out my brows with my pencil. It doesn't have a scent so you need not to worry about that. The fact that it is clear is perfect because it will not ruin the color of your pencil or eyelash mascara. The eyebrow wand is awesome and very easy to use. I so love using them on my brows. I think it may last up to 8 hours because that's how long it lasted on me.
The Bad Bits:
The packaging is chic and classy but the label which says eyebrows and eyelashes can be easily removed when you scratch 'em. I only found out today, actually, after observing the packaging closely. The eyebrow mascara is pure love but the eyelash mascara is a no-no for me. First of all, the bristles in the eyelash mascara wand is just like that of the bottle cleaner's bristles. Nothing special about it. Not much of a con actually but not a pro too. And the mascara did not hold the curls of my lashes but weighed them down. I guess it ain't good for thin lashes like mine. If you have thick lashes, you might want to give this a try and tell me if it would work for you. Oh, and give it about 40-50 seconds before it completely dries on your lashes and brows.
Over-All:
(L) For the lashes | (R) For the brows |
I've read reviews din na mas ok yung eyebrow mascara. :)

it really does look useful. a full-sized brow product would be really nice. i have no use for clear mascara either. =))
ReplyDeletethe brush looks ok for brows indeed! i have tried like two clear mascara and gives me double lashes i guess. xx
ReplyDeleteInteresting. I've never used brow mascara before, but I should probably try since I do have, uh, werewolfy days. :)) I'll check this product out.
ReplyDeleteI've never use a clear mascara though I wanted one way back in high school to have that no-makeup makeup look. (Halatang dati pa maarte! Hehe) I have no brows to tame so I don't think I can use this. :))
ReplyDeleteI think giving it 5/10 meaning kailangan nilang improve ung product nila.
ReplyDeleteYour blog was really helpful but the product itself seems so so. I myself don't use clear mascara much. But if you are looking for clear mascaras I suggest visiting the site I've linked
ReplyDeleteIf you want to make clothes shopping easier, it’s best to go on an empty stomach. You feel sexier and thinner and are much more likely to find something that you feel good in.
