Esme Organics Apple Kiwi Scrub

I used to have my body scrub at Templora Dermatologica and my mom actually pays for my sessions. But after graduating college and having a job, goodbye to mom's pampering budget. However, I believe that just because we don't have the budget for the big time treatments doesn't mean we should deprive ourselves of them. We can always do some of them at home. Say hello to the Esme Organics Apple Kiwi Scrub!

I have previously blogged about Esme Organics and like what I've said there, it's a new brand actually owned by a friend of mine. She just released her Body Scrub line and she'd be coming up with other products soon. The one I'm trying out right now is their Apple Kiwi Scrub. During my swatch I used the body scrub on my skin without wetting it first; but it's recommended that you wet your skin first before applying it on. I just want to show you guys how it looks like.

"This fruity scent scrub is rich with vitamins A and C containing real fruits that helps and nourishes the skin." - Esme Organics Website

The Good Bits:

It's 100% organic! Organic beauty products have been becoming a trend already and it's all because people have started being concerned about their bodies and health as well. When you say scrub, it means you'd exfoliate your skin and it may leave your skin dry; but it's different from this scrub. After I've used it and touched my skin, it just feels smooth, soft and moisturized; but you know and you can feel that you've really exfoliated your skin. As for the scent, it has a sweet fruity scent and I love it. It actually depends on you now if you like those kinds of scent.

The Bad Bits:

The apple seed ;)
This product may leave quite a mess in your bathroom. For example, this particular body scrub flavor has apple seeds and it's impossible for your skin to absorb that apple seed. So the remains will fall on your bathroom floor; thus leaving a bit of a mess.

Over-All:

It looks exfoliated and moisturized :)
I love body scrubs and I'm starting to fall in love with organic ones especially the ones from Esme. I'm giving this product a rating of 9/10. You would feel the exfoliated and moisturized effect after using this. And because it's a body scrub, you need not to use it everyday. You can use it once or two times (max) a week.

  1. I suddenly craved when I read "apple kiwi" haha.. I'm so weird I get cravings from tons of organic scrubs! XD I'd love to give this a try if only there weren't any apple seeds in it. I'm always on the go kasi so I don't think I'll have the time to clean up the bathroom after using the scrub.. >.<

  9. I don't mind leaving a mess in the bathroom when I love a product. Where can I purchase this? I am very interested. Especially since fruity yung scent niya. Perfect for summer talaga! I wanna scrub before we go swimming pero hindi sa beach. :)
