Happy Birthday Mother!

This blog post will be dedicated to the most important woman in my life - my dear mother. This has been an awesome day and it could be because it's my mum's birthday. Somehow, the good vibes just flowed into my veins too. I actually greeted mum a Happy Birthday around 12midnight and just sent her my greeting via sms because she was already fast asleep. Upon waking up, I saw her reply, "Daghang Salamat, Anak :-)"


I actually don't have any budget to buy mum a special gift. End of the month means tons of bills to pay so before I went home, I bought some ice cream and told my mom, "Bawi ako next time, ma!" My younger sister, Czarina (TheBlackSheeproject.blogspot.com), gave mum a cake and dad gave her a brand new iPad. Mom is so tech savvy now! As I'm typing this blog post, she's actually tapping on her iPad, installing some apps and replying on the greetings she received from Facebook. Mum's birthday celebration isn't very grand. Mum just cooked spag, she asked me to buy roasted chicken and my youngest sister, Kim (Kimtabulous.blogspot.com) prepared the siomai.


Being a Daughter to my Mother:

I will never win the Best Daughter award, that's for sure. I wasn't and still am not the epitome of a perfect daughter. Mom experienced being summoned by my elementary school teachers because I was really maharot in school, I've answered back at my mum (even though I know I shouldn't) and there would be times when I will get mum real pissed off; but despite of all that, she's still always there whenever I need her.


"Mum, I need to go to the doctor, I'm not feeling well!"
"Mum, wake me up at 4AM in the morning, I need to go to work early!"
"Mum, my friends are coming over, please prepare something for us..."
"Ma, wala na akong pera, meron ka pa ba diyan? :P"


My mom was my first makeup artist, she was my first stylist, she was my very first fan and my very first yaya. I don't really know what else to say, I just want to give this blog post space to my mom. She deserves more of this and I would definitely work hard to give her the best of everything.


To Mom:


"Ma, thank you super sa lahat lahat. Alam ko naging matigas talaga ang ulo ko at hanggang ngayon napakatamad ko pa rin (Haha!). I won't promise na magiging masipag na ako dahil hindi ko alam kung kaya ko pero sinusubukan ko naman. Ma, I love you so much and wala na 'tong masyadong palabok o kung anu-ano pa mang ka-ek-ekan. Ayoko naman kasing mag-utuan pa tayo sa harap ng mga blog readers ko. Basta, thankful lang ako sa paraan ng pagpapalaki mo sa akin at, ulit, tandaan mo ma, mahal na mahal kita."
