A lot of my blog readers have been anticipating posts about
my hair. It’s also pretty obvious with what my most popular blog post is. You
probably all know that I love experimenting with my hair and some of you might
be wondering, “bakit hindi pa sira ang
buhok ko.” Trust me, it got damaged but I have managed to fix it
again. I’ve also already told you the
story of how my hair was saved by HBC’s Coco Milk Hot Oil Treatment and it’s
one of the reasons why my hair’s all good now. But I remember on my first purchase
of a conditioning treatment for coloring my hair at HBC, the sales attendant
actually offered me to use the Hortaleza Professional Black Pelan Hot Oil
Treatment.
The Hortaleza
Professional Black Pelan Hot Oil Treatment contains Black Pelan silt, an
organic substance which is rich in minerals and lipids. Its botanical and
mineral components condition the hair and scalp for a healthier scalp and
smoother and shinier hair. It is also formulated with Jojoba oil and Vitamin E
to make hair healthy. - HBC
The Good Bits:
Never blow dried, just towel dried and voila, this is how my hair looks like now |
The Black Pelan Hot Oil has helped my hair bring back its usual smoothness and bounce |
The first time I’ve tried it in sachet form, I loved it
immediately. And upon trying out again in this 500g tub, I was reminded of why
I trusted HBC with my hair. It has a very nice scent and has a slight menthol-y
sensation when left on your hair. Immediately after rinsing, you’ll feel the
smoothness and how healthy you hair feels after using it. As you can see in the
picture, it brought back the natural bounce of my hair and compared to my
companions, I guess it looks like I have a pretty healthy, bouncy and smooth
hair. That is taking into consideration how I’ve been coloring my hair often
and changing hairstyles almost every month.
The Bad Bits:
None I can think of.
Over-All:
I would recommend this product especially as an after-color
conditioning treatment. Use this every week and feel the huge difference even
just on your second week. I’m giving this product a rating of 10/10. I love the effect on my hair and
how it has helped me recover from a nasty coloring experience.
