l was not a big fan of BB Creams. I’ve tried one before but
it just gave me that unnatural white face. In front of the mirror it’ll be okay
with a good full coverage but once the camera hits my face – DAMN! I look like
a freakin’ zombie, man! I stayed off BB Creams after that. Plus, good BB Creams
can be expensive so my wallet really folded its lips and is against the idea of
buying one. But when HBC asked me to try their SanSan Hortaleza, MD BB Cream, I
said... Oh okay, let’s give this baby a test run!
It promises to lighten dark spots, nourishes skin, protects
skin from sun damage and has antioxidant. Promising, eh? It also says here that
it has Squalene (has moisturizing effect), Hyluronic Acid (used in anti-aging
stuff), Vitamins A, C and E and SPF 43. Well, that looks promising, no?
The Good Bits:
First of all, you’d love to know that it costs just around
P150.00! For only less than 200 bucks, you will definitely get your product’s
worth and more, actually. The packaging itself is very convenient and easy to
use. It’s also very handy so I can just slide it in my bag or pouch. It gives
of a medium to full coverage and is perfect for morena-skinned ladies.
Definitely a tropical version of the usual BB Creams! I also love how easy it is to just pump out
the product. When I did my road test on this one, I’m glad that it lasted the
whole day on my face. 2 pumps of the product is actually already enough to
satisfy the full coverage I need so, awesome!
The Bad Bits:
I don’t think BB Creams should maintain that “one shade only” rule. I have friends who
have fair complexions and the one and only shade of this BB Cream doesn’t
really suit their skin but they really do want to try because I’ve raved about
it so much.
Over-All:
I love the product. It’s affordable and blends well with my
skin. For medium coverage, I use 1 pump and 2 pumps for full coverage. I’m
giving this product a rating of 9/10. More shades please! But, definitely, I'd be buying once my current runs out of product.
Oh that's the bb cream na sinabi mo.. :) Maganda effect nya in fairness! :) I will check that out :) Thanks!

DeleteI am also not a fan of BB but mine is they broke me out! I don't know why! I've tried 4-5 brands of BB and all of those broke me out~ I guess its due to the mineral oil or complex ingredients~ You do look good on this BB =)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Janet :)

DeleteLove the coverage of this one. My only prob with it is the shade. Pero minsan, di naman masyadong obvious. Lalo na in certain types of lighting. I'm thinking of mixing it with my BB-fied. Sana effective :)
ReplyDeleteI'm curious on how it'll work that way! Gora, Aya! :)
DeleteSansan's bb cream is promising. Unfortunately it's waaaay too dark for me!! -_- sayang ung coverage niya i tried it sa hbc, so nice natakpan veins ko:) kaso sobrang tan tingnan sakin :( for now, i use snoe's cc cream :) mas ok sa skintone ko :)
