Dear Fairy Godmother, My Summer 2014 Wishlist

I think I need a well-deserved vacation.

My newly found independence has helped me craft a better and more responsible version of myself. I have also been more focused at work and have been more devoted to the advocacy of organization. Things may be a bit tougher than before but it has definitely pushed me to upgrade myself. However, I have less #METime now. I haven’t gone to my favorite spa for a massage in ages, I haven’t gone out with my friends again, I haven’t gone out on a date as soon as February stepped in... Oh the things I had to give up. But, in the end, I know it will all be worth it.

But I got good news! My dad has scheduled a Palawan trip for our family come April (2014) and I have already filed my vacation leave for work, signed and approved by my boss! Yey! And because this will be my first ever trip to Palawan, I need to be prepared. I browsed one online store after the other in search for other things I might be missing but it’s such a drag to go online shop hopping; so, I finally settled to checking out Lazada.com.ph since they have collated almost everything you may ever need to buy online from clothes to makeup to skin care products and even gadgets! Here are the things I’m putting in my summer wish list:

Le Organize Cosmetic Organizer

I need an organizer where I can put my makeup and other vanity products easily and neatly. I have been travelling around and it’s such a drag that I just keep everything in a pouch and when I’m about to use them, I need to dig deep and look for what I would be using. Ugh. This is a definite life... Or rather, time saver.

Gala Spa Bag Net

I need a new tote/net bag where I can put my sunblock, toiletries and even phone and other such things and be able to see them easily. It’s simple, no other annoying designs or whatsoever so it’s a two thumbs up for me. 

Caribbean Zooey FlipFlops

Just because I am in a vacation doesn’t mean I shouldn’t dress up and look nice, right? This pair of flip flops is calling my name and it has GELLEESH spelled all over it. I definitely need a new pair of stylish and chic but inexpensive flip flops and this is the pair that will do the job! 

Kustie Sunblock Creamwith SPF 60

I think this is already given. Beach and summer is always equated to sunblock cream! And considering trhe fact that this is SPF 60, what more can you ask for? 

Nivea Sun CoolingAfter Sun Spray 200ml

It wasn’t much of a necessity until I read what it does. It’s an after sun spray that will help you feel refreshed after some time under the sun. It claims to eliminate the burning feeling caused by staying long under the sun. What do you think?  

As much as we, yuppies, would want to fully utilize our younger years; we also need to keep in mind that taking care of ourselves and taking that well-deserved out-of-town vacation is a must especially if you are working really hard. I’m pretty excited, myself. Thanks, daddy!
