FOTD: Prettified Busy Bee

I wasn't able to blog last week and my busy work schedule is to blame. But even though things are just getting busier and busier at work, I think I'd still love to share with you my makeup look for the day. I do wake up early for my makeup still because I wouldn't want to be busy and not look presentable at work. I remember how I wasn't able to wear makeup yesterday and it just kind of felt odd. I love putting effort on how I'd look at work because I love going to work and I would always want to be at my best everyday even if I just get to sit 8 hours a day doing graphics, writing, editing, and being stuck in meetings.

PRODUCTS:

FACE: Maybelline Super Stay 24HR Makeup in Natural Beige | Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder in Silky Beige | SanSan Champagne Temptation Blush Mosaic in RSVPink

EYES: Ever Bilena Eyebrow Pencil in Brown | SanSan CYO Eyeshadow in Water Terra Cotta | SanSan CYO Eyeshadow in Emerald Green | SanSan CYO Eyeshadow in Warm Copper Fire | Revlon Color Stay 16Hour Eyeshadow in Inspired (Purple and White Shade) | Clinique High Impact Mascara in Black

LIPS: Crazy Rumors Lip Balm in Peppermint Twist | Snoe Rouge Deluxe Lipstick in Precious Pout

HOW I DID IT:

First, I poured some of the Maybelline Super Stay 24HR Makeup in Natural Beige and dabbed it on my face using my ring finger. Afterwards, I blended it well and topped it with the Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder in Silky Beige. For my blush, I used the bottom two shades in my SanSan Champagne Temptation Blush Mosaic in RSVPink.

For the eyes, I  started out with the Ever Bilena Eyebrow Pencil in Brown for filling in my brows. Then, I used the SanSan CYO Eyeshadow in Water Terra Cotta all over my lids, the SanSan CYO Eyeshadow in Emerald Green on my crease, topped it with the SanSan CYO Eyeshadow in Warm Copper Fire on the crease area still, and the purple shade in my | Revlon Color Stay 16Hour Eyeshadow in Inspired. I used the white shade in my Revlon Color Stay 16Hour Eyeshadow in Inspired for the inner eye corner and waterline. After that, I curled my lashes and used the Clinique High Impact Mascara in Black.

For the lips, I used the Crazy Rumors Lip Balm in Peppermint Twist and topped it with the Snoe Rouge Deluxe Lipstick in Precious Pout.

Just because we don't get to go out much when we're at work and we're stuck in our desks doesn't mean we won't be at our best anymore. If you love your work and you enjoy what you do, why not enjoy the process in preparing for it as well?

  1. Hello Gellie, this is a pretty look. Is the purple really looks like gray-ish? I don't have this Inspired quad. It looks gray on my end but I like how it turns out on you! Smoked!

    1. I just used the purple vfrom the Inspired Quad to make the outer crease area darker. The grayish effect was the outcome from using the Emerald Green and Warm Copper Fire shade from my SanSan CYO Eyeshadow plus the purple shade from the Inspired Quad Eyeshadow from Revlon :)
