FOTD: The Millennial Alpha Makeup Look

It was in college when I first watched an episode of Sex and the City and immediately got hooked. After that, I’ve dreamed of being a writer, living on my own, going on night outs with my friends… But those didn’t happen all at the same time and things weren’t as easy as how I thought it will be.

I got a job a few weeks after graduation and I told myself, “this is it!” But “that” wasn’t “it” yet. I worked hard, took other side jobs, commuted like crazy, before I got to where I am today. I’m not saying I’m living “THE LIFE” but I’m happy with where I am right now; not satisfied and still working hard for more, but happy. I live on my own, I have this blog, I handle the Marketing and Communications of an NGO, make decisions, have good friends, and even getting married soon. I can say that life is good.

So I created this makeup look with the thought of being a new generation Alpha. Independent, young, fierce, and never giving up.

PRODUCTS USED:
FACE: L’Oreal True Match Foundation in N7 (Nude Ambre) | Flormar Invisible Loose Powder in Silver Sand | MAC Mineralize Concealer in NW35 | SanSan Cheek Blusher in Rosy Blush

EYES: In2IT Triangular Eyebrow Liner in WTB02 (Tawny) | Virginia Olsen Mineral Eyeshadow in Copper Low Luster | The Face Shop Gelset Smudgeproof Auto Eyeliner | Revlon Color Stay 16 Hour Eye Shadow Palette in Inspired | Maybelline Hyper Sharp Liner

LIPS: NARS Lipgloss in Scandal

HOW I DID IT:

First, I used my favorite foundation, the L’Oreal True Match Foundation in N7 (Nude Ambre), all over my face then used the MAC Mineralize Concealer in NW35 on my under eye area applying it in an inverted triangle way. Then I blend, blend, and blend using my ring finger. After that, I topped it all with the Flormar Invisible Loose Powder in Silver Sand and then done with the coverage.

For the eyes, I used the In2IT Triangular Eyebrow Liner in WTB02 (Tawny) to fill in my brows and just smudge and brush it using a Marrionaud eyebrow brush. Then, I used the Virginia Olsen Mineral Eyeshadow in Copper Low Luster all over my eyes and then to create the fierce wings, I used the Maybelline Hyper Sharp Liner. It’s currently my favorite liner because it’s easy to use and definitely waterproof. Moving along, I used the Face Shop Gelset Smudgeproof Auto Eyeliner to line half of my waterline then the white eyeshadow from my Revlon Color Stay 16 Hour Eye Shadow Palette in Inspired for the inner part of my waterline.

For the finishing touches, I used the SanSan Cheek Blusher in Rosy Blush and the NARS Lipgloss in Scandal on my lips. Done!

Yes… I did not use a mascara. No… It wasn’t intended. I just forgot. Anyway, it’s still a good look, yes? I bet it would look more fierce with a mascara so if you plan on trying this fierce millennial alpha look, use a mascara and share with me how you did it, k?
