Healthy Habits – For a Healthier and Better Me

One of the things I’ve learned throughout the course of my “trying to live a healthier life” is that losing weight does not always equate to being healthy; but of course, that doesn’t also mean that obesity is the way to go. In fact, my idea of advocating body love is about loving your body and staying healthy through properly taking care of it.

I believe that I need to lose weight still but starving or crash dieting isn’t the option. I try, as much as possible, to maintain a healthier diet (with a cheat day, of course) and because I don’t have the budget to go back to the gym (hello saving for our upcoming wedding) and workout, I opted to lessen my Uber rides which would mean commuting via the COMET and walking instead of the usual Uber routine where I’m dropped off in front of my place. It’s all about doing it one step at a time and making sure you can maintain whatever it is you plan to do.

One of the things my husband and I have been doing right after the New Year is taking health supplements to help keep us healthy and protected. My husband bought a big bottle of multivitamins and then Healthy Habits Angeles City sent me a bottle of Puritan’s Pride Stress B-Complex with C-500 and Puritan’s Pride Spirulina.

Healthy Habits is a newly opened store in Angeles City that sells high quality, health supplements, and whey and fitness supplements at low prices. They carry some of the best brands in health and fitness such as Puritan’s Pride, Optimum Nutrition, Muscletech, Elite Labs, and BSN. They are 35% lower than other shops and they also have an in-house pharmacist to help you choose among over 200 supplements to aid your healthy lifestyle.

How to get there? Their address is at Unit 201, V&M Building, MacArthur Highway, Angeles City, Pampanga, 2009; and you can also get in touch with them through their mobile number: (0918) 6454978 and their email address: healthyhabitsphl@gmail.com. They’re on top of PNB Angeles, beside Shakey’s Angeles, and near AUF Hospital and Hi-Precision MacArthur Highway.

For more information, you can check them out on Facebook by clicking this LINK.

Keep in mind that being healthy is a choice. Let’s all start our 2017 right with a healthier us!

  4. Yay! Glad to see you are pushing for a healthier lifestyle. For me, being healthy is about balance. I've been down the road of being OBSESSED about 'clean eating' and such. And even though my body may have been healthy (well it probably wasn't because I was eating like no carbs), my mind was not. It's a constant battle! But I've finally found a balance. I definitely agree with everyone you've said here. Being healthy is about taking care of yourself and loving yourself. And once a week that means In n Out Burger or Pizza for me! ;p

  5. So good to see you are trying to take good care of yourself! I love Spirulina. I do not love fish oil because it is so high in toxins such as mercure etc. I use algae oil instead which is much healthier and without the toxins ,). I think crash diets are NO way to go and you are right in taking it slow. Eating healthier is a process and moving more is a great way to start. You can also do loads of home exercise such as yoga, pilates or even dance workouts. There are sooo many options on youtube :)
Thank you a lot for your last comment on my blog :)
    Sending much love!
