OOTD: Now This is My Time

Whenever we would be thrown a question regarding regrets we’ve had in the past, the most common answer is always, “I don’t have any regrets...” But honestly, deep down inside, we know there are things, which we should not have done and we just know that things might be better if they never happened; but who are we to know? We don’t have the power to go back in time, erase those moments and just continue living and being better. There would be times when I wish I didn’t do the mistakes I have done in the past; but after a few moments, I would just smile and say to myself, “silly you, if they never happened, would you ever be this strong?”

OOTD: Sometimes it's all too much for Me

Something amazing happened and it pushed me to expecting too much again. I hate setting expectations but, sometimes, I just can’t help it. Things are really not going bad. As a matter of fact, they’re all going great, or so I think. I did some things that I don’t usually do and although I am scared that things might not go as how my mind projected them to be, I guess all I have to do is live life as it is and just enjoy each moment. I don’t want to hold back, because if I do, I might do some things that could make things more complicated; but if I don’t, it might push me off of a cliff and I’d end up falling alone.

 I am a sucker for Japanese school girl outfits. If only I would look kawaii in one, why not, right? But I don’t have that cosplaying appeal in me so I guess I’d settle for the slightly Japanese school girl look, which might look okay on me, at least.

This won't be just another outfit post wherein I'd tell you how my day went and what I wore. This post is more than just that. I was actually thinking if I'd make a separate blog post regarding my tat, but I decided to just merge it with this outfit post; because I'm so itching to show it to you all.  As some of you may have known, I had my first ink last Friday and I'm really happy with that. People may think I'm rebelling or whatever (undercut, ink, get it?); but I'm not! I mean, why would I rebel in the first place?

Happy weekend! Well, the weekend's almost over and tomorrow (Monday) most of us would be going to work/school. But before the weekdays say hello, let me share with you what I wore yesterday when we went to church. Yup, we attended the anticipated mass yesterday because we would love to have the whole Sunday to ourselves and just sit back, relax, watch a good movie and bum out the whole day at home.

Not a very creative title. I know. Sorry, guys. Haha! Two weeks ago, I think, I attended the Cynos Hair Fashion Show with a new beauty blogger friend, Chriselle of Cosmetic Fixation. The invitation just found its way to my email and at first, I dunno who would go; but after posting in Facebook about the event and asking who would be going, I'm glad someone responded. Chrissy is going and I haven't met her yet in person that's why I'm quite excited to finally meet the blogger behind the awesome Cosmetic Fixation blog plus, a new blogger friend. Yey!

OOTD: The Pour Down

Hey everyone! How's your weekend so far? I had a pretty exhausting Saturday! You see, I attended the wedding of a relative from Cavite. The wedding ceremony was held at the Our Lady of Lourdes church in Tagaytay and call time was 7:30 AM. So, we needed to wake up at 1:00 AM and be on our way by 3:30 AM. I wasn't able to sleep and I've told you guys about it. During the whole trip, I was snoozing. Expected.

Here's another OOTD post which I took from my MAC's camera. For all my office mates or even my boss who would be seeing this post, I took these shots during lunch break so I'm free to go camwhore, right? Hahaha! Anyway, I'm doing this OOTD post because every week, there seems to be a surprise waiting for me. Nope, it's not a material something; but more of an improvement in myself. I'm just happy with how things are going and even though I'm always exhausted, all I can say is that it's all worth it!

Mini Weekend Haul

I haven't been doing much haul this past few months and reason for that is I need to save up money for (1) Jin, my very handsome English Bulldog, (2) a new camera, (3) for my Baler trip. How did I ever survive not buying anything but the super to the maximum level necessities? Simple, after work I never dared step into SM so that I can resist the urge to enter Watsons and buy something. Hehe. But when Hyphen invited me to attend the Heat Wave Summer Bazaar and my sister asked me to join her in attending the 2012 Ozine Fest, I said, "this is the moment I've been waiting for..."

If you have been reading my blog you know that I am currently the ambassador of Hyphen Curiosities. It's the accessories line of The Hyphen Store. You see, I love accessories but it's just that I don't know what to buy and where to get good deals on them. I once bought a vintage necklace but it's quite expensive so I didn't bother buying again. And now that I am starting on fashion blogging, I need to stack up on good accessories but I need 'em affordable.

Hyphen Curiosities: The 3rd Collection

Yesterday, I arrived home late because I attended a crossover (fellowship for young professionals); that is why when I got home, I just blogged and went straight to bed. When I woke up this morning, I saw a package on my table. I opened it and was really happy with the new batch of accessories, Hyphen Curiosities gave me. Every collection is a totally new experience for me and I just can't decide which is my favorite.

I just got home from our crossover which is a fellowship for young professionals and I'd be going there weekly from now on. Things have slowly, but surely, been leading me closer to the Lord and it's all thanks to the people surrounding me. I'd be blogging about the experience on a separate blog post after I've blogged about our retreat. So many things to blog about! I mean, they're not fashion nor beauty related but it's my personal experience with God and it's something definitely worth sharing.
