SanSan Age Defense Liquid Eyeliner

I'm not a big fan of liquid eyeliner; but a girl's got to have one! There would be times when I feel like looking fierce and all that; so I use a liquid eyeliner for those moments. You see, I don't even own a gel liner (and most makeup junkie I know has one) just because I'm not fond of using those and I'm quite lazy to put 'em on my eyes. So, I just go buy myself an inexpensive liquid eyeliner instead if I feel like using one.

When I'm looking for an inexpensive makeup product, there's just two places I go to. One is Watsons and the other one is HBC. For the liquid eyeliner, I decided to go to HBC and check out their SanSan brand. I wasn't a big fan of SanSan Cosmetics until I've tried their concealer which is a thumbs up for me. Anyway, I grabbed their liquid eyeliner, which I think, costs less than a hundred pesos. Affordable, right?


The Good Bits:

I love the applicator. I'm not a fan of liquid eyeliners with brush applicators. I want mine with a felt tip (and that's what I always look for in my liquid eyeliners). It's much easier to control, in my opinion. The packaging is decent and is how normal liquid eyeliners really do look like. It has good pigmentation and it even has vitamins A, C and E. Just look at how you're getting an inexpensive and healthy product at the same time! Once the liquid eyeliner dries, even though it's not waterproof, it's also not easily removed just by rubbing your eyes so worry not. I use an oil-based makeup remover to get it off of my eyes.


The Bad Bits:

What I didn't like most about the product is how slow it dries up. I mean, you'd really have to wait for quite awhile before people with hooded eyes can open their eyes after applying this product on their lids. My sister (who has hooded eyes) opened her eyes quite a bit early and the result, it actually stained her lids. Aside from that fact, I cannot really complain much. It's decent and it does its job.


Over-All:

It's not the perfect liquid eyeliner; but it will do the job. I'm giving this a rating of 7/10. I wish it can dry up faster esp for people like me who are always on the go; but for its price, it's actually already worth it. But hey, I wouldn't mind paying a few extra pesos for an improvement of this one. You see, I love Filipino brands and I'm in full support to them. That's why most of my reviews are Filipino made products. Anyway, do support our own, okay?
