Attending Phil-Cosmetics Expo 2012

One of the things I love most in attending events is the people I get to meet and the blogger friends I get to hang out with. You see, one of the best things about blogging is that you get to meet different and amazing people from all over the world. And if by chance you meet someone whom you can personally be friends with - awesome, right? I'm glad I got to be friends with a lot of awesome bloggers who are from various niches.

Last year's Phil Cosmetics Expo was a shopping haven for me. I was in it to shop so I was actually with my family. However, this year, I'm quite busy with work so I wasn't able to attend the opening ceremony but I'm glad that Aya (CodenameAya.com) asked me to drop by the Phil Cosmetics Expo before we head straight to Eastwood for another exclusive shopping event. But, I swore to myself that I will never buy a single item because I'm in a very tight budget.

Aya and I browsed through the booths and I was drooling with all the beauty finds I've spotted, which are ON SALE! Imagine, a 100% Argan Oil for only P500. But its regular price (DAW) was P1,000++. I was so itching to buy but when I said that I'm not buying anything, I'm glad I stood by my word. But my visit to the expo wasn't wasted because I did not shop. I had a lot of fun looking at  all the awesome makeup products (Snoe was also there!) Plus, I have accidentally bumped into some blogger friends!

At the Digital Traincase booth, Aya and I spotted and greeted Sophie (Beautynomics.com) and Brigitte (iamBrigitte.com). A few chat and then we bid goodbye as Aya and I explore the expo more. And then when we decided to go to Eastwood already, I accidentally bumped into Kai (KaiSensei.blogspot.com).

OMG!

You know Kai is one of my closest blogger friends and it was just an awesome and terrific coincidence that I bumped into her. She actually lined up to have her hair colored for only P300.00. Awesome, right? Then when we were chatting and catching up, someone tapped my shoulder and it was Sai (FashionbySai.com)! Another OMG moment! Sai, as some of you may have known, is part of my #GoodMorningClub Twitter group with Kai, Jen (ShopGirlJen.blogspot.com), Glenn (petitboyblogger.livejournal.com), Daily Fashionista (DailyFashionistaManila.com), Earth (Earthlingorgeous.com) and Sire (SireArevalo.com). We were actually planning a lunch out but I guess we keep accidentally bumping into each other during events.

The Phil Cosmetics Expo featured a lot of beauty products and shops selling US Branded Cosmetics. Gosh, I was so drooling to buy but my self-control really  got hold of me. Thank God! Anyway, I'm so saving up for a big haul for next year. I'm so allotting a budget now.

Did anyone of you went to the expo? Tell me how was your experience at the comment section below.
