Leyende Clean Slate Brightlifting Non-Foamy Face Cleanser

I don’t like sweets.

In fact, I don’t know how many times I’ve mentioned about that in my blog posts but a lot of people just do not believe it. Haha! I mean, how could someone hate eating chocolates and cakes? What kind of monster have I turned into, right? Well, beats me! Since my dad used to work overseas, we often have chocolates in our fridge whenever he’d be coming home, but believe me it never did turn even a single strand of my hair to being a sweet tooth. But although eating sweets wasn’t a hobby for me, smelling them just feels delightful and heavenly. So, sweet-scented stuff often catches my attention.

Still with makeup on (Before Using the product)
A few weeks ago, I received some more samples from SampleRoom.PH. Hooray! One of the stuff I recently got from the website is the Leyende Clean Slate Non-Foamy Face Cleanser and has claims of being fit for ALL SKIN TYPES. What an awesome promise, right?

Reformulated with pandan and calamansi brightening extracts eco-friendly, paraben-free and supports waterless facial cleansing.

So how does it do the waterless facial cleansing? It says at the back:

Use as a facial cleanser and makeup remover in one. Dispense ample amount on clean fingers and gently massage over damp face, closed eyes, closed lips. Wipe off with damp tissue to remove makeup. Rinse well. For waterless cleansing, spray with facial atomizer/spray and wipe off gently.

The Good Bits:

Makeup Removed and squeaky clean! :)
The scent was addictive. It has a sweet vanilla scent that just makes me want to use it over and over again if it only permits me to. The scent doesn’t feel like it can clean up your face but it does do that. It managed to remove my makeup and after rinsing, my face feels squeaky clean. I never had any breakouts with this product so for me, it’s all good. The packaging is my ideal packaging, you can easily squeeze out the product out of it and it has a very simple and classy label. It’s travel-friendly so I bring it whenever I’d be going on an overnight somewhere.

The Bad Bits:

If you’re not a fan of sweet vanilla scents – BOO! Hahaha! Well, then, this might not be for you. But who wouldn’t love a sweet vanilla scent all over your face, huh?

Over-All:

Do I recommend this product? Of course I do. Since it does my face good and really does the cleansing part. However, I’m not really sure about the brightening claims, LOL. I see no difference but it doesn’t bother me much, I’m not into having a lighter skin. I love my complexion as it is so, to whatevs. I’m giving this product a rating of 10/10. Wait, where do I purchase this? Hahaha!
