My Midweek Beauty Haul

There’s a lot of stuff I don’t do in this blog anymore and, well, there’s no harm in bringing them back. So without further ado, let me share with you a mini-haul I did today (Wednesday, March 13, 2013).

It was a productive day at work and things have been going well, or at least that’s what I think. So, since I have been pretty productive and good, why not give myself a treat. Okay, here’s the score – I haven’t gone to Watsons in about 3 months now, I think. And it’s because if I drop by Watsons for whatever reason, I always end buying tons of stuff I do not need. And I’m kind of in a saving mode right now; hence, I tried avoiding that sinful place for awhile. But today was different. I need to relax and spend. Hahaha!

After work, I went to SM Valenzuela and dropped by Snoe first. The attendant asked me if I was looking for anything specific and I bluntly told her, “Nah, I just wanna buy something.” So she gave some recommendations, we swatched a few products and I ended up buying the Snoe White Vitamin C-Rich Calamansi Whitening Detox Mask. I needed something for my face, for detox, to cleanse it and unclog my pores; hence, I will be giving this product a try. This is only PhP249.00 and is available in all Snoe Stores.

Now off to my paradise – Watsons! So here are the stuff I bought:

Okay, I shave my legs. No need to hide that fact. So I bought a new razor, it’s the Schick Exacta 2 and it only costs P30.75. Now, for my deo, I only trust Nivea. I bought the Nivea Extra Whitening Deodorant, which claims to whiten and smoothen skin. I love its scent, actually. It’s only P92.00 for a 50mL bottle.

Then, I realized that I need new nail polishes! So I went to the nail care stall and decided to get the Bobbie Nail Polish in Pure White and the Bobbie Nail Polish in Touch of Tan. These regular colored nail polishes cost only P35.00 each. Sweet, deal huh?  

Moooore! I want more! So when I visited some of the makeup stalls in Watsons I dropped by Beauty Treats and took a good look with what they can offer. Although I can say that the packaging looks pretty cheap, when I swatched the lipsticks, they look really nice. So, I bought the Beauty Treats Color Impact Lipstick in Copper Rose and the Beauty Treats Color Impact Lipstick in Sunset. Each of these cost only P99.00. Oh, and I also remember that all of my current lip balms are in a mini jar so I had to dip in my dirty pinky finger just to get the product so I went to the lip balm area and chose the Lip Ice  Mentholatum in Orange Mandarin which only cost P89.00. Yey!

And as I was about to pay for the stuff I’ve chosen, I turned my head one last time and then saw the Ever Bilena Advance HD Colorless Mascara, which reminded me that I need a new brow mascara. However, a clear mascara would actually do so I went off my line a bit and took this clear mascara off of the shelf and went back. This is already a sweet deal for only P100.00.

Yes, I’m still saving but that doesn’t mean I cannot treat myself every once in awhile. Shopping, after all, can sometimes be therapeutic and can help you release the stress within. But even though I may have bought some stuff, which are off of my budget, I can still say that I didn’t splurge much so no guilt feeling! Hahaha!
