well, there’s no harm in bringing them back. So without further ado, let me
share with you a mini-haul I did today (Wednesday, March 13, 2013).

Fashion + Beauty Stuff = Awesomeness
Awesome day everyone! This is a fashion/beauty related which is more on what I got today. It's been almost a year since I started blogging and I am just overwhelmed with opportunities and privileges I get from blogging. I never thought that blogging could open so many doors for me since I initially started out blogging for All Glammed Up. It was an unexpected thing but, hey, I'm not complaining. Instead, I wanna thank the Lord for giving me so much blessings and never have I once forgot to thank Him. But of course, none of this would have been possible without my family, friends and loved blog readers.

FOTD: Fierce Red Lips
This is my very first FOTD wherein I had red lips. Well, this is the first time I had red lips because red lips doesn't usually look good on me or that's what I think. You be the judge. I usually just do pink lips because that's what usually looks good on me; but I love how fierce my face looks in this FOTD so I'm sharing it to you guys. Enjoy!

FOTD: The Family Reunion
I went to Bulacan with my family today. I woke up a bit late so I kind of need to rush with my makeup and everything. I only applied liquid foundation and lined my brows at home and did the rest of this look inside Sporty (our Sportivo's name. LOL). The curled hair isn't originally part of the look. My cousin did this and it turned out great (for me). So let's start with how I did this.
PRODUCTS USED:
EYES
- Shawill Eyebrow/Eyeliner Pencil & Brush
- ELF Eyelid Primer
- Purple Eyeliner
- Clinique Colour Surge Eye Shadow Duo in Rosewine
- Love Minerals by Human Nature Mineral Eyeshadow in Enchanted Evening
- Rimmel Sexy Curves Full Volume & Curve Mascara (Waterproof)
FACE
- Belo Essentials Day Cover
- Beauty Treats Liquid Foundation in Beige
- Beauty Treats Camouflage Mineral Concealer in Medium
- Sansan Concealer in Beige
- Maybelline FITME Blush in Medium Coral
LIPS
- Watsons Moisturizing Lip Balm in Sweet Strawberry
- Almay Ideal Lipcolor in Pink

| Makeup and tools I used |
HOW I DID IT:
First I applied the Belo Essentials Day Cover all over my face. It contains SPF 15 to keep my face protected from the UV rays of the sun (Bongga!). After that, I applied the Beauty Treats Liquid Foundation in Beige using the Charm Stippling Brush and used the Beauty Treats Camouflage Mineral Concealer in Medium to set it on my face. I remembered an article I read wherein Kim Kardashian likes using concealer on her cheek bone, so I did. Using my Charm Stippling Brush again, I applied the Sansan Concealer in Beige on my cheek bone and using the Props Tools & Cosmetics Blush Brush from the 20pc Brush Set, I applied the Maybelline FITME Blush in Medium Coral below my cheek bone.
For my eyes, I lined first my brows using the Shawill Eyebrow/Eyeliner Pencil & Brush. Then, I applied the ELF Eyelid Primer on my lids. This is actually my first time to use a primer and it really did prevent the colors on my eyes to crease and it brought out the color more. For the colors I used, I applied lighter brown shade on my Clinique Colour Surge Eye Shadow Duo in Rosewine and the darker brown shade on my crease. I was looking for a color to highlight my brows and I forgot to bring a white eyeshadow, so I used the lightest purple shade from my Love Minerals by Human Nature Mineral Eyeshadow in Enchanted Evening and I think it worked out pretty great. Then I used the Purple Eyeliner on my waterline and used the G-Lish Eyelash Curler I bought recently which only costs P50 and it even comes with a pair of tweezers. Pretty neat, right? For my mascara, I used the Rimmel Sexy Curves Full Volume & Curve Mascara (Waterproof). Aside from L'Oreal Voluminous Naturale, this is definitely one of my favorite mascaras.
For my lips, I used the G-Lish Lip Brush to apply the Watsons Moisturizing Lip Balm in Sweet Strawberry and then used the Almay Ideal Lipcolor in Pink to add color.
I loved this look because it looks naturaland not overly done. I'm so through with overly done makeup. I remember my college days, when I was still flunking makeup, I used to think bright blue eyeshadow looks great and when I saw my pics back then, I just wished I knew how to apply makeup during those picture. They were just so crazy.
Anyway, how was your Saturday? Hope you all had a great one! Till next post! ;)

FOTD: A Bit Like Blair
This is the look I had when we went to Bulacan for my tita's birthday last Sunday. I was all femme and proper that day and so is my makeup. As you can see, I'm wearing a bow headband again. I so love bow headband, it's makes someone look young and it reminds me of Blair Waldorf from the Gossip Girl TV series. I loved the book and I loved the TV show as well. Anyway, enough of the Gossip Girl talk and let's go on to my FOTD (Face Of The Day).
PRODUCTS USED:
FACE
> Belo Essentials Day Cover
> Beauty Treats Liquid Foundation (Beige)
> Ever Bilena Single Blush-On (Rose)
> Ever Bilena Pro Longwear Loose Powder
EYES
> Ever Bilena Color Pencil (Brown)
> White Eyeliner
> L'Oreal Voluminous Naturale Mascara
> Love & Beauty Smokey Palette
LIPS
> Watsons Moisturizing Lip Balm (Sweet Strawberry)
> MAC Satin Lipstick (Mocha)
HOW I DID IT?
We all need to use a moisturizer first before anything else. This is my new new day moisturizer so I want to include this in my FOTD. It actually has spatula which makes it easier for you to apply without dabbing your finger inside of it. After applying this, I applied the Beauty Treats foundation using my new and favorite brush from Charm Pro. It's a stippling brush and I'm so loving it right now. After evenly applying the liquid foundation, I then set it off with the Ever Bilena Loose Powder.
For the eyes, I lined my brow using the Ever Bilena Color Pencil; then, I used the gray shade from the Love & Beauty Smokey Palette on my lids, The black shade on my crease and the white shade on my brow bone. To make my eyes look less tired (because I always sleep late) I used the white eyeliner on my waterline. It will make your eyes look bigger and less tired. After curling my lashes, I used the L'Oreal Voluminous Naturale mascara to create a thicker look for my lashes.
For my blush, I used the Ever Bilena Single Blush-On applying it slantly upward to make my face look thinner. Haha! Then, for the lips, I applied the Watsons Moisturizing Lip Balm, then the MAC Satin Lipstick in Mocha for a natural and subtle look.
It is a natural but noticeable look you can use during family gatherings or on a day event. As you can see, my two zits are noticeable here. The one is under my eye on the left and the other is above my brows on the right. I'm trying to maintain a natural look so no covering up of blemishes; but the pimples are also because I forgot to take off my makeup a few times last week because I was so exhausted from work that I slept on our sofa and woke up the next day without washing my face or whatsoever. Eww right? Anyway, I have learned my lesson I hope you all love this look and if you tried to re-create this, hope you could link it below. Till next blog post! ;)

Beauty Buffet Charcoal and Cypress Facial Mask
My search for the ultimate facial mask which will fulfill my needs is almost over. Of all the facial mask I've tried (Etude House and Watsons) this, by far, will have the best review. OMG, enough of the spoilers, just read on and find out why I loved this.
![]() |
| With the facial mask on ;) |
The Good Bits:
I've read reviews about charcoal facial washes and facial masks so I went on and bough this one from Watsons the moment I saw it being the only one left of its kind. It's inexpensive at PHP45.00 plus the packaging is cute, right? This facial mask has the best fit of all the facial masks I have tried. It really is a Filipino-friendly mask. It also sticks well on your face so no need to worry about keeping them on for a good 20 minutes (as per instructions).
This is the first time that I felt like my being purified and the ingredients of the facial mask feels really absorbed. I can feel a tightening action underneath the mask as if my face is drinking all the ingredients in the facial mask.
After I've removed it, I feel like my face was cleansed and I'm satisfied. I'm sorry if I wasn't able to take a picture of my face right after I've tried it. I accidentally took a nap while wearing it and when I removed it, I was so sleepy that I just tossed the used mask on the trash bin, rubbed my face a bit to spread the remaining juice from the facial mask and slept.
The Bad Bits:
This is also the first mask I've seen that has instructions of using it on a daily basis. Usually, instructions on facial masks will tell you to use it at least 2-3 times a week. Everyday is too much. Oh and I'm also having a hard time looking for new stocks on this specific product. Looks like a lot of people really liked this one.
Over-All:
I will definitely be buying more of this product; but I still have one more facial mask to review so let's see how that one will match up against my current favorite. I will be giving this a rating of 10/10. It's very good plus it's inexpensive. I can feel the effect immediately so the ingredients must be strong. Can they just please remove the daily use instructions at the back of the pack?

Purchases and Gifts to Try Out
Hey everyone! I would like to share you the new stuffs I've got this week. I dunno if I'm gonna be receiving more or buying more; but so far here they are:
Yesterday, I received a call from Xend telling me I got a package and they were asking for directions. The Xend package was an "I Love My Blog" shirt I got from sleekinthecity.com.
When I got home, mom informed me that I got another package via Air21 and guess what, it's from G-Lish again! Surprise! I already got their first package last time and they sent another one yesterday. I love you Gelleesh loves G-Lish talaga! They gave me this Lusterstick which looks like a pretty cute color. It actually reminds me of the ELF Luscious Liquid Stick. Two great products! <3
Today, I bought a few stuff from Watsons just because I passed by it. Here are the stuff I bought from Watsons:
![]() |
| Caronia Nail Polish (Desire) - PHP32.00 |
![]() |
| My Posh Nail Polish (Gold) - PHP16.00 |
![]() |
| Wish Cuticle Remover - PHP16.00 |
![]() |
| Crayon Heart Jewel Lash #19 - PHP98.00 |
![]() |
| Crayon Up Curl Mascara - PHP98.00 |
Total for the items I bought is: PHP260.00. I found a new brand of makeup which is super cheap and it's in Watsons so no need to fear it. Crayon brand is from Japan. I find their lashes super cute. I would want to buy more from them. Expect that!
So that's it fro my new stuffs for this week. Till next post! ;)

FOTD: Vintage Girl Makeup Look
This is the look I had today when I went to the office. It's kind of like a vintage look; plus I'm wearing a brown flowery dress so the vintage-feel is so high. Oh and the bow on my head is so cute. Agree?
So, do you wanna know how I did this look? I know you're all curious as to how I was able to do a bouffant with my hair. First of all, let's love the environment so I did not a hair spray for this look. Amazing? Here's how the back of my hair looks like:
Well, what I did was get a small part of my hair and tie it loosely. Then, I pushed it upwards and pinned it when I reached the desire height for my bouffant. Easy, right? Add your favorite head band to make it look more vintage. I used to do bouffants back in college too but I usually just use headbands with small ribbons or a headband with a vintage cameo; but today I decided to be a bit crazy and use a big bow. Haha!
Now, off to the makeup!
PRODUCTS USED:
FACE
- Nivea Creme
- EnCara BB Cream
- Wish Pressed Powder (Beige)
- Ever Bilena Single Blush-On (Rose)
EYES
- Love & Beauty Smokey Palette
- Purple Eyeliner
- L'Oreal Voluminous Naturale Mascara
- Ever Bilena Color Pencil (Brown)
- Kawaii Liquid Eyeliner
LIPS
- Watsons Moisturizing Lip Balm (Sweet Strawberry)
- MAC Lipglass (Gitane)
HOW I DID IT?
Before anything else, make sure that you have put your favorite moisturizer. Well, my present favorite moisturizer right now is Nivea Creme. It's back to the basics and it's so much better than other moisturizers I've tried. After that, I applied the EnCara BB Cream on my face and blended it well using a Marionnaud Sponge. To set the foundation, I used the Wish Pressed Powder then I applied blush slantly upwards starting from my cheek bones.
For the eyes, I first applied a light gray shade on my lids, a matte shade of black on my crease and a white shade for my brow bone. For my brows, I made it clean and a bit thick so that it would look natural. Then, I applied the kawaii liquid eyeliner on my lids creating a double-winged cat's eye for a more eccentric effect. It's kind of not very noticeable on my pictures; but it is in person. As for my lashes, after I have curled them, I used the L'Oreal Voluminous Mascara to volumize them since I have thin and short lashes.
Now, for the lips, I applied the Watsons Moisturizing Lip Balm, then the MAC Lipglass in Gitane to make it look thicker as it will also create a pouty look.
So there, done! This is my own version of a pin-up vintage look. I hope you all love it and don't be afraid to stand out from the crowd.
Till next post!

Watsons Moisturising Facial Mask
I am still in the experimental stage of trying out which mask will better suit my face. Last time, I tried out the Etude House Aloe Mask. It gave me pimples and the mask did not fit my face perfectly; plus it didn't stick well on my face. This time, I bought my Aloe Vera Mask at Watsons to see if it would actually be better than that of Etude House.I followed the directions and left it on my face for a good 30 minutes. This is what I think:
The Good Bits:
![]() |
| Better fit :) |
It has a better fit than the Etude House Mask. Even snub-nosed people (like me) can try this one. This mask claims that it is whitening and is moisturising enriched with Vitamin C; and yes, they spell moisturising that way. It is said to leave your skin fairer and radiant. I honestly do not like my skin to be whiter because I'm in love with my golden brown look; but for some, the whitening effect might be tempting. It is a bit cheaper than the Etude House. I think less than PHP10.00 cheaper; but I got this on a buy one and take one for only PHP1.00 only offer because it was such a sweet deal. I actually kept this mask in the refrigirator and after using, I felt this smooth and moisturized feel. I love that clean feeling on my skin.
The Bad Bits:
I got additional zits on my face. I don't know if it's because of the product or maybe my face doesn't like aloe vera. I might not try another aloe vera mask again. I will be looking for a better mask ingredient.
Over-All:
![]() |
| Right after using the mask :D |
I have actually used this product only two times; but the zits are alarming. They're not very ugly to look at; but who wants them? I will be giving this product a rating of 5/10. If only I didn't have any break-outs, I could have given it a higher score. It's inexpensive and it definitely gave me a smooth and moisturized feel on my skin.
Please keep in mind that I am not sure if this product will really give you zits; because the Etude House Aloe Mask gave me zits too. So my face might not just be in love with Aloe Vera extracts; so I will be trying new face mask flavors next time.
Till next post! ;)

NOTW: Stars and Dots
I have finally made a new design on my nails. I want to share this new design and I hope you will all love it. I have said in my last nail of the week, My last nail art design was crappy; so, I made this new one.
What I Used?
- Etude House Pink Nail Polish
- Caronia Blue Velvet Nail Polish
- Caronia White Satin Nail Polish
- Caronia Nail Hardener & Base Coat
- Caronia Fast-Dry Top Coat
- Wish 3D Nail Stickers
- Hair Pin
How I Did It?
First, I applied the Caronia Nail Hardener & Base Coat. Afterwards, I used the Etude House Pink Nail Polish. I did two coats on this so that the color would be very visible. I colored the slanted half with the Blue Velvet shade from Caronia and then used the tip of the hair pin to put white dots on the Blue Velvet part. I, then, used one sticker per nail at the bottom part of the pink nail polish and topped it all off with the Caronia Fast-Dry Top Coat.
This is my favorite nail art I've personally done. I hope you loved it as well.
This is my favorite nail art I've personally done. I hope you loved it as well.

FOTD: Being Barbie
It's been quite a long time since I last posted my look of the day and well, here is my new look. My inspiration for this is Barbie Doll. Alright, I cannot be as perfect as a Barbie doll but it's just an inspiration. I never claimed I will look like her.
Anyway, this look is composed of mostly blue and pink. Since I cannot have blue eyes (you can if you'd be using contact lenses), I'm applying it on my eye makeup instead.
PRODUCTS USED:
FACE
- EnCara BB Cream
- Everbilena Pro Longwear Loose Powder
- Everbilena Facepowder (Honey)
-Everbilena Single Blush-on (Rose)
- Clinique True Bronze Pressed Powder Bronzer (Sunblushed)
EYES
- Dreamgirl Colors Eyeshadow (Pink)
- Mary Kay Mineral Eye Color Quad (Denim Frost)
- Love & Beauty Smokey Palette (White)
- Everbilena Color Pencil (Brown)
- Generic White Eyeliner
-L'Oreal Voluminous Naturale Mascara
LIPS
- Watson Moisturizing Lip Balm (Sweet Strawberry)
- NYX Round Lipstick (Fig)
HOW I DID IT?
I applied the EnCara BB Cream all over my face using my fingers and then blending it using a Mariounnaud sponge then I set it with the Everbilena Loose powder.
For the eyes, I first did my eyebrows using the brown Everbilena pencil. I have a new color on my hair and since it's not black anymore, brown is the better brow pencil to use. After that, I applied the Denim Frost shade from Mary Kay all over my lids using a Marionnaud N35 Eye brush. I also used the Marionnaud N37 Eyebrush to soften the rough edges. Then, I used the Dreamgirl pink eyeshadow and applied it on the crease and outer v area of the eyes and soften the rough edges again. Using the Marionnaud N38 Eye brush's slanted side, I applied the Dreamgirl pink eyeshadow on my lower lash line and then the White eyeliner on my waterline. For the brow bone's highlight, I used the Love & Beauty Smokey Palette's white shade. After curling my lashes, I used the L'Oreal Voluminous Naturale as my mascara.
For the cheeks, I used the Everbilena Blush-on in Rose and applied it on my cheeks going slantly upwards. Then I used the Clinique bronzer for contouring. I applied it with the Marionnaud N35 Eyebrush and drew a line starting from the brows going down to the tips of the nose on both sides. I blended it usung the Marionnaud N37 Eyebrush and applied white eyeshadow on the nose bridge for highlight.
For the lips, I applied first the Watsons Moisturizing Lip Balm and then the NYX Round Lipstick in Fig.
I topped it all off with the Everbilena face powder in Honey using the ELF Total Facebrush.
I love the colors I used on my eyes and the Dreamgirl eyeshadow was such a great discovery for me. It lasted long and the pigmentation is good. I will be doing my review soon plus I bought another eyeshadow from Dreamgirl. It is only PHP99.00 in some Watsons branch but surprisingly, it's only PHP94.00 in Watsons SM Valenzuela where I bought my new one.
I hope you all love this look and till next post! ;)

Shopping Escapade at SM Marilao
I didn't actually buy a lot but I bought a few things and some of them are on-sale. It's the last day of SALE at SM City Marilao so I took advantage of it.
Stuffs I Bought:
Kassidy Bag from Egg's MOD Collection - I love the girly, sophisticated yet modern look of this bag. Their MOD collection basically means Modern and is their new line of bag collections. This piece of bag art costs PHP1,750.00 but since it's on sale I got it for only PHP1,400.00.
Black shoes from Mario D'boro - I need new shoes for my new work so I bought these simple black shoes. Their original price is PHP699.00 but since it is on sale, I got it for only PHP399.00.
Nivea Body Lotion (Angel Star) - PHP89.75
Ever Bilena Color Pencil (Brown) - PHP88.00
Caronia Nail Polish (Baby Pink) - PHP30.00
I bought all of these from Watsons with the total cost of PHP207.75.
I'm excited for my new work and to tell you all about it as soon as I get started; but I will never leave blogging. I need the work so I can buy more makeup to review. Great inspiration, huh? Haha!
Till next post! ;)
