OOTD: Think Pink

Razzle, dazzle and spread the news! And pink’s for the lady with joie de vivre!

Top: Plains and Prints by Rajo Laurel | Shorts: Solita | Bag: Bought from Dave (Officemate) Hahaha!

I was invited by one of my early blogger friends, Eenah Tejero (one of the co-founders of UMAP – United Makeup Artists of the Philippines), for their Grand Launch Fashion Show titled: In Full Bloom. I won’t be going into details as to what happened during the event because I’m so gonna be blogging about it in a separate post as this one is for what I wore for the event.

Flats: Shoe Gallery
It was actually my first time to go to Robinsons Magnolia and I just took the LRT1 got off at DJose station and then took the LRT2 till Gilmore station. A friend actually already told me that Robinsons Magnolia is just around Gilmore station but when I can’t seem to get a glimpse of the said mall, I panicked and took a cab. And, well, yes it was just around the corner. Hahahaha!

With Pam, Guilly, Ivan and Ana :)
I didn’t actually know other people or bloggers, whom I personally know, who would attend the said event. Eenah, of course, won’t be able to entertain me much because she’s got tons of stuff to do during the event but thank God they told me that there’s another blogger who attended the event and it was Ana Victorino, one of the Youtube gurus I follow and watch. It was actually my first time to meet her in person and she was really very nice and pretty. So, I actually had a great time during the event. Now I’m gonna stop spilling details. Hahaha!

The title of this blog post actually came from one of the song in Funny Face, one of Audrey Hepburn’s movies which I so totally love. Have I already told you how obsessed I am with Audrey Hepburn these past few weeks? A few years back I had this sudden obsession with Marilyn Monroe and her makeup look and now I’m into Audrey Hepburn and her very elegant and classy look both for her makeup and the way she dresses. Actually, I don’t want to sound geeky and all but in one of the songs played during the fashion show I recognized the line, “Promise me one thing: don't take me home until I'm drunk - very drunk indeed,” from the movie Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Hahaha!

Feels so gay, feels so bright. Make you day, make you night. Pink is now the color to which you gotta switch.

I have told you over and over and over and over again how one of the most awesome perks of blogging is meeting new people and this is actually one of those days when I met new awesome people because of blogging. Hoorah for new friends!

Everything on the great horizon, everything that you can think – and that includes the kitchen sink, think PINK!
