White Result Exfoliating Gel

On my last blog post, I have shared with you all the result of my makeup fasting and how it is necessary for us, especially makeup lovers, to go through one to help our skin breath for even a week. Your skin will definitely thank you for it. Trust me.

One of the latest skin care products I have been using is the White Result Exfoliating with encapsulated whitening peptide, which I got from SampleRoom.Ph. It was the height of my breakouts and I feel like I need to use a miracle-worker of some sort to help me out with those nasty zits popping out of my poor tired face. I was desperate.

“Dramatically renew the look and feel of your skin with this innovative product that contains B-White, an encapsulated whitening peptide that decreases melanin production for optimal whitening activity. It also provides brightening effect for a more uniform complexion.

Enhanced wuth Multifruit BSC, a blend of five botanical extracts namely bilberry, sugar cane, sugar maple, orange and lemon. These extracts are natural sources of Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA’s) that promotes smoother, younger looking skin by increasing the rate of cell renewal.

Stubborn me; I know I shouldn’t exfoliate while having breakouts (because it’s more recommended AFTER the breakout) but I still pushed through because I’d absolutely do anything just to skip a makeup fast!

The Good Bits:

And I was like, "eww, dead skin cells surfacing out!"
The packaging is very convenient because it’s very easy to dispense. It is very easy to use and not harsh on the skin like most exfoliating products which are usually in the form of scrubs. Oh and you can really see how it removes the dead skin cells off of your skin just by lightly scrubbing it on the surface. So far, it didn’t give me any breakouts and I feel squeaky clean afterwards.

The Bad Bits:

And yes the packaging dispenses the product easily but I guess ay to easy! The formulation is very watery that upon opening, the product may drip easily off of its container. Product wastage! After using this product, I feel like my face has become rubbery and tight so I’d always use my argan oil after the exfoliating process.

First time I used it, I did make a mistake of exfoliating while at the height of my breakout. It gave me itches on my face and there was redness as well. So during my makeup fast, I had to stop using this for a week and just used it religiously the week after. Problem solved! Don’t use it while you’re having your nasty breakouts.

Over-All:

It, somehow, feels like it’s a dupe of the famous Cure Aqua Gel but upon reading reviews of Cure, I kind of don’t think it is. Now, I’m planning on trying out the Cure Aqua Gel soon because of the very promising results and great testimonies from fellow beauty bloggers. It’s definitely more expensive but I have come to realize that often times, you get what you pay for.

Do I hate this product? I don’t. I would still continue using it but have doubts of re-purchasing. I’m giving this a rating of 6/10. Does good exfoliating, you may try if you’re curious but no impressive results for me.

  2. I also stopped using it for a week, like you do. I never knew that we should not exfoliate when we have breakouts, my bad. I also want to try Cure Aqua Gel instead.

    Loving it!♥
