OOTD: Our Song Plays on the Radio

Top: Korean loose long-sleeve top with print: JUST NOW | Shorts: Solita | Shoes: Fioni Boots from Payless
Drive me away ‘cos the night just feels right. Take me away with you tonight.

I woke up later than how I, initially set things to be. I needed to print out some things, woke up my youngest sister, pissed her off, asked my second sister to fix my youngest sister’s job while I do my makeup and then went off.

FOTD: Just did my brows, some mascara, blush and pink lipstick (Well, at least, I still look fresh hear) | HAIR: Tutorial soon for this chemical-free and iron-free curls. I bet a lot of you are already excited. Can I see a raise of hands? LOL
Traffic was bad. I had to take the cab from point A to point B worth 300 Pesos. Come on, clap your hands to how easily I let that 300 bucks off of my hand!

*Phone rings*

OMFG. I’m late.

Rushed to the event place, met up with a few people, smiled, greeted, and took some pictures.

Breath!

It was a few hours of meeting new people, catching up a bit with some blogger friends, seeing old blogger friends, tweeting, posting in Instagram and getting some stuff which may or may not be useful for me.

Finally.

Merci to the Coffee Bean located at the heart of the city, atop one of the most popular malls, for a relaxing conversation with one of my friends.

A few hours more, I was picked up by my night’s date.

Japanese food. Coffee. Night drive. Fast Food for our 4AM breakfast.

(Clockwise, starting from upper left: Blogapalooza Name Tag | Salmon Sashimi at Nihonbashitei | 24 Hours KFC at Katipunan for ze breakfast | Witnessing the beautiful sunrise at Corinthian Hills
Waiting for the sun to rise with cigarettes in between our index and middle fingers, an Ironman mask on while some good music being played from my playlist out of his car’s speaker was the best moment that night – a totally impulsive but unforgettable date night when we felt that time just stopped.

The sun slowly rises as it shines over the beautiful city down below. I smiled.

Parked car, this night sky makes city light shine like diamonds.

  1. Seems like you had a really nice weekend, Gelz! :) Btw, I love your makeup here. Simple but yes, it does look fresh! Kaka-wow lang how brows and lipsticks make an incomplete look kinda complete. Anyway, stay happy and fab as always! :)

    1. Thanks, Sumi! Yeah, true that. For the past few months I haven't been wearing much makeup on but brows, mascara, lipstick and a swipe of blush. I hope to see you again one of these days! It has really been a fab weekend for me! :)
