I left my basic makeup pouch at my place in Pampanga and I’m
already back in Manila. What to do? So, I saw the Rimmel Stay Matte Clarifying Matte Foundation in Soft Beige back at
home (from All Glammed Up’s stash) and thought, “maybe it’s about time I give this baby a run.”
“Shine control formula
for up to 12 hours matte coverage. With SkinPure Complex for a visibly purified
complexion and gentle botanical extracts to help soothe sensitive skin.
Oil-free. Non-comedogenic. Non-acnegenic. Fragrance free. Paraben free.”
The Good Bits:
The packaging is really a blessing. It is very easy to slide
in my makeup pouch and it doesn’t come in a fragile bottle, so I can just throw
it in my stash. The product is easy to squeeze off of its container and it is
quite sturdy. It is good for sensitive skin, oil-free, won’t give you breakouts
(well, so far, it didn’t give me any and so is someone I know who has used it)
so all’s good. It will give you light to medium coverage and, again, I used a
halp pump for more coverage on my under eye area. If you have oily skin, this will be a superb
makeup foundation for you; so you better give this baby a try soon.
The Bad Bits:
It gives off a light usual makeup-ish scent, which kind of turns some people off; but it doesn’t
bother me. It’s superb for those who have oily skin (I have combination) but
for those who have dry skin, better steer away from this product. This doesn’t
have any SPF content, which is how I wish all foundations would have. It can
only be purchased through online makeup stores (AllGlammedupUp.Weebly.com or
email me at allglammedup.gelliea@gmail.com
since I co-own the makeup store and we haven’t updated the page yet)

I am impressed with the performance of this foundation and I
am definitely alternating this one with my favorite L’Oreal foundation. My
rating for this product will be 9/10.
It’s perfect for those with oily or combination skin type but won’t work on
those with dry skin. The fact that it only caters to a specific niche kind of
limits its outreach and also that it is not available locally is part of its
con. But it lasts long, it’s affordable and it didn’t give me any breakouts.
High five!
I like products that last long but also worried that they enter my pores and it would be hard to clean them out later on. The result of your complexion is nice. :) 9/10 for a product rating is definitely deserving.
ReplyDeleteIt's definitely worth it ;)
DeleteHi!
ReplyDeleteI have not tried this foundation yet, I have combination skin and from what I've read here it will be a good match. Right now I am using a similar type of foundation from L'Oreal which I absolutely love,
Hugs,
Rally!
I also love my L'Oreal foundation. Glad to know you found a similar one that will work well on you, ;)
DeleteLooks like I have to write this down on my list of possible things to buy. :)
ReplyDeleteTell me what you think once you've tried it! ;)
DeleteThe packaging looks beautiful and I guess the result is good. Not so white.
ReplyDeleteTrue that, Janine! :)
