FOTD: A Simple and Casual Sunday

I went out to hang out with a friend last Sunday so I just opted to do a simple makeup look. It's something I have been quite accustomed to doing these past few days at work because of how crazy my schedule has been. What I love about this look is how you can easily re-create this in less than 30 minutes and still look glam because I focused more on applying a thicker layer of mascara to give my eyes that more dramatic effect.

PRODUCTS USED:

FACE: L’Oreal le teint True Match in Nude Beige | Jane Be Pure Mineral Crushed Powder in Medium | NYC Cheek Glow Powder Blush in West Side Wine

EYES: Ever Bilena Color Pencil in Brown| SanSan Kohl Eyeliner in Black | Clinique High Impact Mascara in Black

LIPS: Crazy Rumors Lip Balm in Peppermint Twist | Skin Food The Chocolate Makes You More Sweet and Deep Lip Gloss

HOW I DID IT:

I used a pump of  the L’Oreal le teint True Match in Nude Beige as my foundation and blended it all over my face and then another half a pump for my dark under eye area. After that, I set it with the Jane Be Pure Mineral Crushed Powder in Medium.

For the eyes, I used the Ever Bilena Color Pencil in Brown to line my brows, then I used the SanSan Kohl Eyeliner in Black on my upper lids and half of my waterline. I, then, curled my lashes and applied a few coats of the Clinique High Impact Mascara in Black. I waited a few seconds for it to dry and curled my lashes again. I also applied the mascara on my lower lashes to give it that glam doll effect.

For the finishing touches, I used the NYC Cheek Glow Powder Blush in West Side Wine on my cheeks and the Crazy Rumors Lip Balm in Peppermint Twist, and the Skin Food The Chocolate Makes You More Sweet and Deep Lip Gloss on my lips.

I guess, for now, it will be my  usual makeup look focusing more on dramatic eyes via the lashes rather than the color. I also like how the nude lip color I have is focused on giving emphasis to the eyes rather than in other areas. Don't you just adore that makeup can do those sorts of things?
