FOTD: Running Some Errands

I prefer taking my time when doing my makeup. I will keep on checking if my makeup look is fine at all angles and I like, spontaneously, coming up of my makeup look or theme for the day on that same morning when I'd be doing it. So, yes, I do wake up early when I do my makeup. But there would be times when I prefer just putting something light on and go to work or do my groceries and all those stuff.

One of you requested an easy and quick to do makeup look that will help her highlight her best features in the least amount time possible. As much as I'd want to do an assessment as what  her best features are, I don't know how she looks like but, here's what I opted to do... A quick and easy to do makeup look that I normally do when I just need to go out and run some errands. This won't take much of your time (5 to 10 minutes at most) and will help you look made up without all those very detailed highlighting, contouring, and layering of products.

PRODUCTS USED:

FACE: L'Oreal Paris le teint True Match in Nude Beige |  ELF Studio Pressed Powder in Almond | SanSan Cheek Blusher in Rosy Blush

EYES: Ever Bilena Eyebrow Pencil in Brown | SanSan Kohl Eyeliner in Black | Clinique High Impact Mascara in Black

LIPS: Crazy Rumors Lip Balm in Peppermint Twist | Ever Bilena Matte Lipstick Toast of New York

HOW I DID IT:

I used half a pump of my L'Oreal Paris le teint True Match in Nude Beige at the back of my hand and applied it, mostly, on my under eye area and in areas where I'd want to cover-up. Then, I blended it well and topped it with the ELF Studio Pressed Powder in Almond and a swipe of blush on my cheeks using the SanSan Cheek Blusher in Rosy Blush.

For my eyes, I just filled in my brows using the Ever Bilena Eyebrow Pencil in Brown, curled my lashes and applied the Clinique High Impact Mascara in Black, and applied the SanSan Kohl Eyeliner in Black on my waterline. When it comes to figuring out what you should put on your eye makeup for that quick fix, you can choose either or a mascara and a gel liner or eyeliner for your upper lids. It will help a lot in giving you that pretty made up eyes in less time and less products.

For the lips, I just used the Crazy Rumors Lip Balm in Peppermint Twist topped with the Ever Bilena Matte Lipstick Toast of New York.

That's it!

Yep, it's that easy. It only took me 10 minutes at most or even less. Less product on your face, less time to do it, more time for the family or friends, and more breathing space for your skin. Hooray, right?

  1. This is actually similar to my go-to makeup look for weekends! :D Just foundation, powder, blush, lippie, brows and liner. I don't even use mascara and bronzer regularly, just when I have extra time for prep! :))

Anyway, you're looking gorgeous as always, Gels! Love that lip color, btw! <3

  3. I love this look. :) I admire girls who wake up early just to prepare themselves and their look for the day. :) I sometimes get too tired to do so. But I should try this more :)
