OOTD: Someone' s Bound to Get Burned

"Why do we fall in love so easy? Even when it's not right."

Falling in love is something we do not really plan on doing. For me, it just happens. It will start from appreciating the other person who he is and it will eventually develop into something bigger. Before you know it, you've already fallen. I've fallen in love and fallen out of it and there would be times when I'd want to give up and just stop getting myself into all those crazy troubles it entails me to go through.  Falling in love is crazy and we cannot avoid that fact. There would be ups and downs and you'll argue a lot, you'll have misunderstandings, and there would be times when you cannot just understand each other. You will either end it  or continue fighting. When you fall in love, you will get hurt. It's inevitable. Is it worth it? You be the judge.

"But just because it burns doesn't mean you're gonna die. You've gotta get up and try."

And while it's true that when we fall in love we also take risks and the possibility of getting hurt is highly likely, it doesn't mean (for me at least) that we should already give up with it. It just means that the last wasn't meant to be and we don't need to blame anyone for it. We will never know if we don't try, but if we do, we should always accept the fact that, indeed, we will have to take risks and we may get hurt. I asked you if you think it's worth it... I think it is.

I'm happy with where I, currently, am. I'm happy and dating someone. Remember in one of Lily Allen's song, "We exist but we're taking it slow." We are both aware that we've been through something hurtful before and we want things to develop and progress well... So, we're not rushing things and we'll just go with the flow. We are both aware of the various responsibilities we, individually, carry and while we know that we both want the same thing for "this" we still prefer taking it one step at a time so we can adjust well to what will happen in the future. Who knows? We might take it to the next level or we may end up figuring out that we're not really meant. No one will... But it doesn't mean we shouldn't give it a try, right?
