FOTD: Be Your Teenage Dream Tonight

Have you ever had that weird, awkward, and yet amazing moment when you do not expect things to go that way but it did? I guess, in a way, things work out for the best and the things we least expect to bloom often seems to turn out to be the one we are waiting for. Or at least for me that's how things have been going - weird, awkward, but amazing.

For this makeup look, I opted to go for some feel-young colors. I feel like I'm a teenager starting to date again - just taking it slow and seeing where things go. I guess I kind of like it this way.

LIPS: Crazy Rumors Lip Balm in Peppermint Twist |  Skin Food The Chocolate Makes You More Sweet and Deep Choco Smoky Lip Color

HOW I DID IT:

I started off with applying the L'Oreal Paris le teint True Match in Nude Beige all over my face and then topping it with the SanSan Pressed Powder in shade 01 for setting purposes.

Then, on my eyes, I used first the SanSan Kohl Eyeliner in Black to fill in my brow. Then, I used the SanSan CYO Eyeshadow in Pink Opal all over my lids, the SanSan CYO Eyeshadow in Purple Amethyst and blended it with the darker brown shade on my Clinique Colour Surge Eyeshadow Duo in Rosewine. After that, I used the SanSan Waterproof Eyeliner Pen in Brown on my upper lid, the SanSan Kohl Eyeliner in Black on my waterline, curled my lashes and applied the Clinique High Impact Mascara in Black on them.

For the finishing touches, I used the Clinique Soft-Pressed Powder Blushes in Pink Blush for my cheeks and the Crazy Rumors Lip Balm in Peppermint Twist and Skin Food The Chocolate Makes You More Sweet and Deep Choco Smoky Lip Color for my lips.

The finished look has that subtle sweet look that perfectly tells the story of my current mood and dating life, I guess. I'm scared and excited at the same time. I don't what will happen but I am happy and I guess that's all that matters right now.
