Happy Skin Shut Up & Kiss Me Lip & Cheek Mousse

So after coming home from my daddy's company Christmas party, mom told me that a package just arrived and was received by my grandma for me. What could it be? Surprise, surprise! It was a package/Christmas gift from my good friend, Anly. You see, Anly was my officemate from my last job (Pixel Pro). She is one of the few people I can easily and comfortably talk and confide to at work. And when I resigned from Pixel Pro, we still kept in touch. Anyway, back to the package... it contained two products from Happy Skin and one of which is the Happy Skin Shut Up & Kiss Me Lip & Cheek Mousse in My Guilty Pleasure shade.

"Pucker up with a power product that gives you double-duty beauty! The Happy Skin Shut Up & Kiss Me Lip & Cheek Mousse is a lightweight product that can be worn both as a lippie and as a blush. Wear it on your lips, or dot onto the apples of your cheeks and blend for the ultimate flirty finish! Long-lasting and easy to blend, the 2-in-1 makeup must-have gives firmer, smoother, and better defined lip & cheek tint to kiss!"

The Good Bits:

I fell in love at first sight because of the packaging. You know how when it comes to beauty products, I value the packaging so much because that, my friend, proves that they must have put that much effort in the product that it deserves that sweet and cute packaging! Aside from the packaging, this products promises to hydrate, prime, repair and rejuvinate with anti-aging peptides and protects your lips with SPF 15. Thumbs up? It's very easy to apply and glides smoothly on my lips. I love how, as my day progresses, this product gives off that beautiful matte finish that never dries up my lips. As a cheek stain, a dot is enough! It is that pigmented. The product lasted on my lips and cheeks almost the whole day. On my cheeks it doesn't budge, on my lips it just gets better as the hours fly by (because of the matte finish it gives off as my day progresses). It doesn't transfer, or at least after letting it settle for some time,  so it's definitely a keeper.  At the top of my lungs I'm singing... Loooove it!

The Bad Bits:

I love how it's pigmented and all that but there would be times when I'd have difficulty applying it on my lips because its wand has the tendency to pick up so much product that you might end up having a hard time blending the right amount on your lips! Well, it will just take a little bit of getting used to. Plus, for that beautiful matte finish to come out, you need to wait for it to settle on your lips first.

Over-All:

It's definitely one of those products I'd love to always have in my makeup pouch especially since I vow that I'd travel more this 2015 I need a product that can save space and doubles as a cheek stain and a lip color. I am giving this a rating of 9/10. I would suggest you get yourself one of this and make it one of your staple makeup products!

Thanks, Anly, for letting me try Happy Skin. I am definitely checking out their other products because I just fell in love.

  6. Good to know it doesn't dry out the lips. That was one of the factors I had in mind for not purchading. If I need a lip balm to make a lip product work, I'd rather skip it. I'll give this a second look. :)
