My makeup kit is a mix of drugstore and department store
makeup brands. I believe that there are some cases when splurging can be
justified, while there are some instances when it’s not necessary.
Almost two years ago, I moved to Pampanga and to tell you
quite frankly, as much as I love this new found freedom, things are tougher
than how it initially looks. Bills, cooking, cleaning the house… Yep,
independent people do those things. But aside from that, there’s another thing
that I needed to adjust to… My beauty necessities! Where do I buy, where can I
find them here?
Just like what I’ve told you before, my makeup kit is a mix
of brands both local and international. There’s not much problem if I’d be just
looking for local brands like Ever Bilena or HBC and even usual international
drugstore brands like Maybelline, ELF, or Revlon; but what about the department
store brands? I have a few which are already a staple in my makeup kit.
And then I was introduced to BeautyMNL.com. They invited me
to check and try out their website. Basically they have makeup reviews there
and beauty tips; but they don’t just leave you hanging like… “Where do I get that beautiful shade of
lipstick?” If you liked it, you can also order it in their website! And,
yes, they carry the brands you need but you don’t usually find in your local
malls.
WHAT A RELIEF!
And so I browsed through their website and thought about
what I need and here’s what I got:
Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet Luminous Matte Lip Color in L’Exuberante;
Dolly Wink Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner II in Deep Black; and some freebies:
Nivea Exfoliating Wipes and Lancome Nouveau Advanced Genifique Youth Activating
Concentrate
It was quite easy browsing through the website. They’ve
sorted things out based on product description or if you prefer a specific
brand, you can also have that option. And if you’re thinking that you need a
credit card to pay for your purchases, worry not. They also offer a COD option
for orders below PHP 5,000.00 within Metro Manila. Isn’t that such a relief? That
was actually one of my concerns before I had my credit card. I really REALLY
wanted to buy some things online but they all used to require a credit card.
Thank God BeautyMNL.com took that into consideration, right?
I actually placed my order during the APEC week and was
expecting that my order would be delivered already a week after; but lo and
behold! It arrived Friday at my parents place in Manila and was informed about
it because the delivery guy called me up while I was on my way there. I just
asked him to leave the package to my mom and that was it. Ordered arrived and
customer is very satisfied.
I think I would frequently purchase from them since they have
almost all my staple beauty products and I need not to go out of the house just
to buy them. Since traffic in Manila isn’t very desirable, this is just so
convenient, yes?
I'm submitting this one for the #selfieMNL contest. I used the Chanel matte lip color and Dolly Wink Eyeliner I got from BeautyMNL in this look |
I've been hearing lots of good compliments for BeautyMNL, but still I haven't tried shopping thru their website. While writing this comment, I'm simultaneously browsing their website, and you are right -- its easy to browse, organized products nila. Thanks for this tip girl! And BTW, I feel jealous with your lipstick -- suits you well :D
