If you follow me on social media, you might have already
seen my post about recreating Twiggy’s
makeup look for a 60s/70s themed party at work. It was actually sort of a
last minute thing because so I really didn’t have much time to prepare. If we
were given enough time, I would have really dressed up well for the occasion.
I forgot to post what I was wearing but I think I did a
pretty okay job. I wore a gaucho pants and a turtle neck top which I think is
fit for the occasion, yes? Then before leaving home, I asked myself, “Should I choose
cologne or perfume?” Not that it matters a lot but I opted for a tiny spray
on the wrist of my Versace Bright Crystal and rubbed it on my neck. I’m good to
go!
I suddenly got interested with the 60s/70s fashion look and
when I searched Google for some inspirations, I noticed how the era is also
filled with jumpsuits. So I went and researched more about different jumpsuits
through StyleWe and here are the top 3
interesting ones I found:
This gray
off-shoulder two-piece elegant jumpsuit is something that I can really see
myself wearing. It actually doesn’t look retro at all but more of an “I’m going
out for coffee with some friends” kind of fashion feels. I’ve been falling in
love with off-shoulders again so this can be a pretty good choice. Now I kind
of want to get a shoulder tattoo. Hmmm…
Second on my list is this gray
ruffled two-piece stripes crew neck sleeveless jumpsuit. This is something
I can see myself wearing at work. I’ve always wanted to try man glam for women
and this could be the perfect one. Although man glam doesn’t usually look good
on me but I think it can be worth a try in the future.
And the third one is this plain
elegant pockets lapel sleeveless jumpsuit. The model is wearing a ruffled
top which, I think, makes the look more sophisticated. It’s like I’m about to
go to a party and watch a game of Polo. Not that it’s a trend here in the
Philippines but a girl can dream, yes?
I love online window shopping! You can get inspirations for
your next look and the products are just one click away. No need to dress up
like how you normally would when going to the mall, yes? So go ahead, shop 2016 black jumpsuit,
get that over-sized glasses you’ve always wanted, and even that perfect palette
you’ve been eyeing all online! I’m thinking of buying Christmas gifts online
even. Which online shop do you frequent?
Oh and don’t forget to follow StyleWe Blog and their Pinterest for more fashion
inspiration!
My favorite jumpsuit is the off-the-shoulder one. You are right that it looks very modern - and very sophisticated. Thanks for sharing, beautiful! XO

I love those styles! The 50's & 60's were a great time in fashion and I love to see designers still using those elements.

Off the shoulder tops are quite popular right now, they're cute, but I never imagined them as a jumpsuit! I love it. Looks cute and vintage. I think it would go great with a clutch! :)
