FOTD: Fab Working Girl Makeup Look

I love being different. It’s not that I want the attention but more of, I dislike looking like someone else. I value the feeling of being an individual a lot and, as much as I can, I try to deviate from the norms as long as I’d still be able to comply with what’s expected from me especially at work.

Since I work for a non-profit and faith-based organization, it’s already kind of expected that I need to meet with certain rules and regulations when it comes to dressing up. Thank God there’s none for how I should be putting my makeup on so I can get creative however I want.
For this makeup look, I used my Urban Decay Naked Palette 3 for the very first time and I’m really happy with how super pigmented and easy-to-blend the product is. So without further ado, let me introduce you to the rest of the team that helped create this fab makeup look.

PRODUCTS USED:

FACE: L’Oreal True Match Foundation in N7 (Nude Ambre) | Nichido Final Powder in Ivory Glow | Max Factor Pan Stik in Nouveau Beige | NARS x Sarah Moon Blush in Impudique | Snoe Bee Happy Makeup Setting Spray

EYES: In2IT Triangular Eyebrow Liner in WTB02 (Tawny) | SanSan CYO Eyeshadow in Pink Opal | Urban Decay Naked Palette 3 | Maybelline Hyper Sharp Wing | Dolly Wink Long Mascara | The Face Shop Gelset Smudgeproof Auto Eyeliner

LIPS: MAC Satin Lipstick in Cherish

HOW I DID IT:

After making sure that my face is well moisturized, I used the L’Oreal True Match Foundation in N7 (Nude Ambre) by dispensing a pump at the back of my hand and then dotting the products all over my face. For the blending, I used a paddle brush. After the foundation, I used the Max Factor Pan Stik in Nouveau Beige on my under eye area, middle of the nose, a short line on the forehead and at the bottom of my lips. I blended all these using a sponge and topped it all off with the Nichido Final Powder in Ivory Glow.

Now off to the eyes! I used the In2IT Triangular Eyebrow Liner in WTB02 (Tawny) for my brows then a spoolie to blend it well. After that, I used the SanSan CYO Eyeshadow in Pink Opal all over my lids, blending courtesy of my right finger. After that, I lightly brushed the Darkside shade from the Urban Decay Naked Palette 3 on my outer crease area and then the Blackheart shade on a smaller area on the outer corner of my eyes. I also used the Buzz shade from the same palette for a little bit of pink shimmer on top of the Pink Opal shade I used. For my waterline, I used The Face Shop Gelset Smudgeproof Auto Eyeliner, then the Maybelline Hyper Sharp Wing on my upper lash line, curled my lashes and used the Dolly Wink Long Mascara on it afterwards.

For the final touches, I used a light swipe of the NARS x Sarah Moon Blush in Impudique on my cheeks and the Dust shade from my Urban Decay Naked Palette 3 as a highlighter on my cheekbone just above where I swiped my blush and on my nose bridge. For my lip color, I just used the MAC Satin Lipstick in Cherish since there’s already too much going on in my eyes… So let’s go subtle on the lips, shall we? After putting all those products on my face, I then sprayed and set it with the Snoe Bee Happy Makeup Setting Spray. Been a big fan of this product for months now and it has become a staple in my makeup bag.

So that’s it! I hope you liked this makeup look and don’t forget to just be you and do your makeup for you. It’s okay to be different and don’t be afraid to stand out.

  2. You look gorgeous! I especially love your eye makeup. I have no patience with blending which is probably why I always look like a raccoon when I do smokey eyes 😂
I also use L'Oreal True Match as my foundation, it's so good 💖

  8. This is such a good look on you! You always rock makeup so well. I am horrible at makeup and could definitely use to get better. Most days I don't even wear it. Which is probably why all my money goes to skin care haha. But I agree, definitely rock what you want and don't be afraid! You look so pretty. :)
