REVIEW: Skin Potions Meow Eyeliner Stamp

I admit it. I’m one of them lazy girls.

As negative as it may sound, being a lazy girl has its pros. Yep, it does. Let’s just say I identify myself as a “productive” lazy girl. I try my best to find solutions on how I can do things quickly and more efficiently; that kind of lazy girl. So I’ve been seeing this eyeliner online where you’d just have to stamp it on your lids and, poof! You get instant wings. I keep telling myself I’d order one but, well, I tend to forget. But one magical afternoon as I was window shopping in Trinoma, I stumbled upon the stall of Skin Potions and, as luck would have it, they’re on sale! So without any second thoughts, I bought the Skin Potions Meow Eyeliner Stamp and tested it soon as I got home.

The Skin Potions Meow Eyeliner Stamp is a dual ended eyeliner where on one part, you can stamp the wing and on the other, you can use to line your lids.

The Good Bits:

It’s pretty straight forward. Stamp and finish the line and you’re done. True to its claim, it made doing your cat eyeliner or wing easier and perfect for us, lazy girls… Well… Productive lazy girls. I also love the fact that it seems to be waterproof, yet it doesn’t claim to be on the packaging. It lasts the whole day on my lids and only went off when I deliberately wiped it with my makeup remover. And even after that, it was a little bit tougher than the normal eyeliners to wipe off. I remember how, a few days ago, I was fixing our new cabinet with my husband and even though my sweat was dripping like water from a faulty faucet, the eyeliner did not budge. IT DID NOT FRIGGIN’ BUDGE. WHAT’S UP WITH THAT?! For its price (Php 350), you’re definitely getting more than what you paid for.

The Bad Bits:

I didn’t like the scent it produces. Yikes! And even though it made making wings on my eyes easier now, it still might take a bit of getting used to for a newbie. I also didn’t like the lining end because it’s too big and stiff, thus making it a bit difficult to control. But it’s still as water-proof as the stamp part I love, so no regrets. The printing of the label could use a bit of improvement too because as much as it works really well, packaging still matters, right?

Over-All:

Not budging even after I've sweated a lot! Wow!
I am giving it a rating of 7/10. It worked well, but it still has some minor flaws that I think can still be improved. Would I repurchase? I think I still would mainly because of the waterproof part and the stamp, of course. Lazy me loves it so much!

  1. Wow, this liner is amazing! You'd never know it's a stamp that produced the line, but it looks perfect! I've never tried anything like this before. Now that I'm a new mom, I'd love something like this to cut back on my makeup time. Thanks for sharing, beauty, and I hope you have a great weekend ahead!

I am one of those too. When it comes to beauty, I just want to be done. That way I can get to work and be productive for the day. The liner looks really good on you! That's so odd about the scent though... I've never heard of an eyeliner smelling off haha. That's awesome it lasted so long too!
