REVIEW: PH Care Naturals Intimate Wash with Papaya Extract

If you have been following my blog (or even just my social media accounts), you probably already know that I take my vagina seriously. And no, I’m not making fun of how straightforward I am with talking about my downtown issues because I want every women to be able to talk about it without having to feel embarrassed or whatsoever. Because our reproductive system is serious business and is not a laughing matter.

When it comes to hygiene, I am very particular with what I would be using especially when I have my period. You see, I’ve been bleeding like crazy lately because of the meds I took which, according to my doctor, would help me bleed out the excess blood or thickness of the wall in my uterus. So of course, it’s only natural that I’d be very careful with what I use down there. It’s bleeding for almost a month now again so I can’t just take hygiene for granted. To be honest, no one should ever take hygiene for granted.

So included in my Happy Days Club Box is the PH Care Naturals Intimate Wash with Papaya Extract. So what are its claims? According to its box, (1) it contains papaya extract, an ingredient traditionally knoen to safely whiten your bikini area; (2) it has a mild and gentle formulation making it safe for everyday use; and (3) Is pH-balanced and clinically tested by obstetrician-gynecologists.

Ingredients: Water, Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Chloride, Glycerin, Methylisothiazolinone, Carica Papaya (Papaya), Fruit Extract, Panthenol, Citric Acid, EDTA, Alpha Bisabolol, Fragrance, C.I. 15985

THE GOOD BITS:

I was hesitant at first because of if a feminine wash has a “flavor,” it would usually have a strong scent. Although, I would have to admit that it does have that subtle papaya fruity scent, it never really bothered me. I also like the fact that it helps in whitening the bikini area. So it’s not just for the labia but for the whole area which is really convenient, right? And since this is a feminine wash, you can expect mildness and subtleness down there instead of the usual whitening products which can be harsh on your skin. Because girls, never sacrifice the health of your vagina just so it can look gorgeous. A healthy vagina is still so much better.

THE BAD BITS:

I guess I don’t have anything to complain about this product. I didn’t have any allergic reactions or whatsoever and so far it’s doing its job well. I actually brought this in the office so I can use it when I’m changing tampons. Nothing to be ashamed of there!

OVER-ALL:

I’m recommending this product if you’re looking for the all-in-one feminine wash. Cleans the area down there, whitens your bikini area, but still mild on the skin. It’s perfect for everyday use and will definitely make you feel refreshed. If you want a beautiful southern forest, better use this instead of doing bleaching or whatever harsh products you’re thinking of using. This is definitely safer, clinically-tested, and recommended by the right doctors.
