When it
comes to perfumes and such, I’m just not very particular with brands. While
other people buy (not going to say invest because it isn’t an investment, guys
and girls) the more expensive ones, I on the other hand, would go for good and
cheaper brands. Why? Although I must agree that there are certain occasions
when you need to smell better than usual, there are more casual moments when
you’re not expected to smell more than how an ordinary person smells like. I
don’t know, just my two cents.
Anyway, so Happy Days Club
sent me a 30ml of the Scent Swatch Eau de Parfum Spray
in Daisy. According to their website:
“Daisy
is a casual floral-green fragrance for women that features top notes of
grapefruit, green notes, raspberry and pear; middle notes are jasmine, rose, violet,
litchi and apple blossom; base notes are musk, virginia cedar and plum. Light
and airy, this is a perfect go-to scent when you're on a fresh and carefree
mood.”
THE GOOD BITS:
First of
all, let me start by saying how much I love that the packaging is very
minimalist. Kind of brings back your attention into focusing on the product
itself and not the extravagant looking packages or bottles (*cough* overpriced
perfumes *cough*). I also personally like the scent they sent me. They compared
it to Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh. I’m not a big perfume fan, but from what
I’ve smelled when I started using this, it has this fun summer vibes kind of
scent. I feel like this fits me and my personality well.
THE BAD BITS:
I kind of
didn’t like how the cap is made from plastic. That’s the first thing I noticed
when I checked it out. And I don’t know with other people, but this lasts on me
for 4-5 hours. Decent enough considering
it’s not too expensive, but some people might just not like that.
OVER-ALL:
I’m giving
this a rating of 7/10. I love how
the scent matches me so much. Plus it’s also inexpensive. Oh, and they have
this in different sizes too – 60ml (Php 390.00), 30ml (Php 220.00), and 12ml
(Php 125.00). Should you be interested to try out their other scents, you may
visit their website – www.scentswatch.com. Enjoy!
