Clinique Colour Surge Eye Shadow Duo/Soft- Pressed Powder Blusher

This product was given by my dear friend, Fashiometics. She is actually my HS friend who moved to the US. She is also a fashion and beauty blogger. This Clinique palette she sent me has two eyeshadow colors and one blush. The eyeshadow duo is in Rosewine shades and the blush is in Pink Blush shade. This is actually a combination of two products made into one sample palette; but this palette has a decent amount of product so it won't leave you with an early craving of not having to properly use the product.

Swatches:

Coloure Surge Eye Shadow Duo (Rosewine) I guess it's obvious which is the darker and lighter one from the palette

Soft-Pressed Powder Blusher (Pink Blush)

The Good Bits:

The packaging is very simple and sophisticated; just how we expect Clinique products to be. Once you open the palette, there is a fairly huge mirror, mini-blush brush and a sponge applicator so you can definitely use this product already. I love the pigment of the eyeshadow duo as it gives my eyes a natural look; and because it's Clinique, sure enough it's allergy tested and it doesn't have a scent. For the blush, it have my cheeks a natural glowing color. You can bring this for retouching your day look. Definitely a staple-worthy in your makeup kit. It lasts the whole day on me so it'll be perfect for those who are always on the go and do not have time to do touch-ups.

The Bad Bits:

I haven't used the applicators included in the palette but I bet the sponge applicator will do just fine. However, for the blush brush, I find it too small for proper application so I don't really like this one. For the blush, it's not very pigmented so you need to swipe it a few more times to get the color you want. If you'll look at the swatch on my arm, you'd see what I'm talking about. For the eyeshadow duo, I just hope that it becomes a trio offering a white shade for the browbone because I love that complete look; but I guess it won't bother some people.

Over-All:

Using the Colour Surge Eye Shadow Duo in Rosewine

Soft-Pressed Powder Blusher (Pink Blush)

I am in love with the product. The blush may not be that pigmented; but I love the shade and how it looks on my cheeks. Like what I have typed awhile ago, it's staple-worthy in your makeup kit especially if you're after that natural day look. I'm giving the eyesadow duo a 9/10 and the blush a 7/10.
