NOTW: The Jennifer Lynn Experience

When was the last time I posted a Nail Of The Week blog entry? Been a long time, huh? Over the past few days, I have been quite focused on writing reviews because there's just so many products I've been dying to share with you guys, and of course, my thoughts on them and some recommendations.  You see, I believe blogging is more than just showing you guys what my passion is, it's also a way on how we can share our thoughts on stuff which can help us in deciding about a certain product or would also serve as a guide for us impulsive shoppers.

For this week, or maybe for the whole month, I would be sporting pink nails. Well, not really pink, the shade is called Avery. There's more to this nail polish than just being adorably pink and cute. You see, this is my very first experience on putting on the Jennifer Lynn Gel Professional UV Nail Color. I chose this because it's one of the cutest shades I've seen from Jennifer Lynn and also they look cute on my nails. As much as I would want to sport a neon pink nail color, it's just too loud and it would make my nails look dugyot. Hahaha!

You see, Jennifer Lynn polishes are gel polishes and they're really expensive (or at least for me). They need a UV Lamp to dry and the binder, base and top coat are special as well. The people from The Nail Corner (located at SM City Marilao) even told me that the nail polish remover for this is also different from the normal nail polish remover we use. It can last on even a month depending on the growth rate of your nails. According to Janna (The Nail Corner attendant who did my nails), Even if I remove it with my own nail polish remover or use a knife or whatever to chip it off, it won't come off. Amazing, right?

Well, I'd be sharing with you guys my Nail Corner experience soon and a review of the Jennifer Lynn polish after a few weeks so I can test its durability on my nails. I have high expectations and I'm hoping they're met or even exceeded.

What do you think of gel polishes? Have you tried one? What's does your nail look like right now? Share your thoughts and answers at the comments section below. Let's chit chat over there.

Till next post! ;)

    1. I peeled it off! Hahaha then used np remover to remove the regular polish underneath. Top coat pa lang yun pero hirap na hirap na ako. They say you can remove gel by using nail polish remover in a cotton pad then balot mo sa nails mo then balutin mo rin ng foil then wait for several minutes. Haha define: hassle.
