Saizen Foot Lotion and Foot Scrub in Peppermint

One of my favorite things to do is get myself pampered. So whenever I see a new spa to try on around my place (as long as it looks decent, ah!) I make it a point to drop by and try one of their services. One of my favorite spa treatments is the foot spa. Honestly, I don't have the most gorgeous feet that's why I take extra extra care of it. I'm also quite lazy to get do my toe nails so foot spa and pedi is the way to go. But I'm kind of saving money right now so I'm trying to DIY almost everything. So when I found these pair of foot care products, I just couldn't resist it.

The Saizen Foot Lotion and Scrub comes only in peppermint flavor. I haven't seen it yet in other flavors. It comes in 100mL and is in a white tube packaging. If you're buying these babies, you can purchase them at any Saizen shops for P85. They're a package already so, lucky us! I tried this product on my feet and forgot to take pictures, so I used this on my sister's (Kimtabulous.blogspot.com) feet to show you guys how it would look like.

I love the scent of peppermint. That's why when I read the label, I didn't have any hesitations. I grabbed it from the shelf and put it in my cart. It is super inexpensive. For only P85 you got the lotion and the body scrub already. It's such an awesome pair, don't you think? At first I thought the scrub was a weakling in scrubbing because when I put a drop on my hand, I just could see any beads on it. They're really small; but when I used it, the exfoliating power of the product worked its way in my skin and from seeing none of those beads, I instantly felt them on my skin. Awesome. The lotion was really moisturizing as I also use it and bring it everywhere. I'm quite confused now as to what's my more favorite product, the Nanny Rose Foot Salve or this. They're just both so awesome. It leaves your skin a cooling sensation because of the peppermint flavor.


The Bad Bits:


Maybe some people would want to purchase this separately but hey, it's already affordable for two products. Don't complain. Oh, the lack of other flavors! I mean, I love peppermint but my sister doesn't really enjoy the cooling sensation and the scent. It may work on me but I don't have the same taste with other people so they might want a sweeter scent. The packaging is so simple. Well, I'm kind of like the type of person who falls for super cool and gorgeous packaging but maybe they focused more on the product but still, I kind of want my stuff packed so gorgeously. Oh, look at my I Am Beautiful and I Can Rock the World contest. My Beauty Loot #2 includes the Hand Cream from Saizen and the packaging is just so gorgeous plus it smells like strawberry flavored Pocky. So you see, packaging does matter, to me, at least.


Over-All:

It may not have the cutest packaging; but I can totally forgive that because this product does great on my poor and tired feet. I'm giving this a rating of 8/10. Improve the packaging and more variants for other people who may not want the peppermint scent. But this one totally works for me so it still got a high score. Would I be purchasing again? Definitely! I'm in love with this product.
