Not the Cherry Blossoms; but the Anime and the Sushi

Throwback “not necessarily” Thursday:

I would always be so enthusiastic to come home from school because at 7PM, in one of the known networks here in the Philippines, I am expecting to watch awesome anime shows; and since internet connection back then was the dial-up, downloading anime shows is not really much of an option because once you start downloading, you will be interrupted by the sudden calls or you’d have to spend bucks and bucks of pesos for an ISP Bonanza internet card.

The So Gelleesh Second Blog Anniversary Giveaway

Happy June everyone! I don’t know if some of you guys remember but I hope at least one or two does but this June marks my 2nd year as a beauty and fashion blogger of So Gelleesh. I can’t believe my blog is already two years old! I know I have been a bit low on posts for the late 2012 and early 2013 but I’ve been doing my best to keep up because writing is my first love so even though I am pretty stressed out with work (still writing) leaving blogging would never be an option. Through blogging I have met awesome friends and new people who contributed to who I am today and to the improvements I have made not only in the art of makeup and fashion but also in dealing with life.

Saizen Hand Cream in Strawberry

I WAS a self-confessed impulsive buyer. I see something cute, I buy it. A sales attendant treats me so well inside a store, I feel the urge to buy whatever he or she is offering. GRRR... Okay, I WAS. I WAS. But not anymore. Thank God to my new motivation, ehem Bangkok, I'm slowly becoming more kuripot. Haha! I am kuripot in a sense that I buy cheap stuff but the quantity is... oh no. I buy cheap stuff and by stuff I mean plural. And this is actually one of those impulsive purchases I've made.

Saizen Goodwill Program: 3 Ways to Save

I'm actually thinking of a more creative title for this blog post; but the title, which Saizen gave it was already perfect so I just let it be. Anyway, Saizen has always been close to my heart since you know how much I and my sister, Theblacksheeproject.blogspot.com, loves the Japanese culture and having a Japanese store like Saizen here in the Philippines and get to try their stuff is just pure awesome. So when Saizen email-ed me campaign they're launching, I'm just itching to share it with you guys.

Let's Take Care of our Feet

We have constantly been talking about taking care of our skin, using stuff with SPF content to protect us from the harmful rays of the sun, using the right moisturizer, makeup shade and stuff like that; but have we ever paused for awhile, sat down and thought about what our feet are feeling? If only our feet could talk they might have already blurted out every single curses invented in different languages, I mean, come on, we tire them every day with our seemingly endless walks and trips or whatever and yet, they're one of the most taken for granted parts of our body.

OOTD: That Sassy Office Chic

You know I don't usually do outfit posts when it's just about what I wear at work because I can be repetitive with my clothes and of course that would just be so boring, right? But this day is an exemption because I'm in such an awesome mood. Why, you ask? Well, I'm just so overwhelmed with the results of my workout and diet. I don't think I'm overdoing it and I'm taking everything in moderation but I'm just really happy with the current result. That is why I tried wearing one of my clothes, which apparently, doesn't fit me anymore; with the hopes of being able to wear it again after a week of diet and workout.

Saizen Blogger Shopping Party

One of my dream destinations is Japan. I mean, they just have such a rich culture and the fashion sense of the people there are just super ultracalifragilistic cool. Admit it, you've always wanted to walk out of your home cosplaying, wearing lolita, being all ganguro or harajuku girl without looking like a total odd ball. Well, in Japan, do as the Japanese do! Hahaha! Well, honestly, who am I to say that Japan is totally cosplay-ish. I haven't been there; and that's why I wanted to. But for now, one of the closest thing to Japan I can be is at Saizen.

Saizen Foot Lotion and Foot Scrub in Peppermint

One of my favorite things to do is get myself pampered. So whenever I see a new spa to try on around my place (as long as it looks decent, ah!) I make it a point to drop by and try one of their services. One of my favorite spa treatments is the foot spa. Honestly, I don't have the most gorgeous feet that's why I take extra extra care of it. I'm also quite lazy to get do my toe nails so foot spa and pedi is the way to go. But I'm kind of saving money right now so I'm trying to DIY almost everything. So when I found these pair of foot care products, I just couldn't resist it.

After Christmas Haul

Yesterday (December 27, 2011) I went to SM North and Trinoma with my younger sister, Czarina (The Black Sheep Project). Her main purpose, actually, was to complete the stickers on her Starbucks card for a planner and, well, I'd be meeting up with some of my blogger friends.
