Getting My Hair Color Done Professionally Again

Sporting my new hair color with family loooooves <3

I need to have my freakin’ hair colored again! The black roots are starting to show and, man, it’s not a pretty sight. I’ve been contemplating on what color I should use on my hair next. Maybe I’d go back to the violet I’ve lost after a few days or maybe go blonde again but not bleached, though. Well, blonde won! So there off I went to Etude House to buy a Gold Blonde Bubble Hair Color. I looked at the shelves and there was none. “Oh my,” I blurted silently. So I approached one of the attendants and asked where their bubble hair colors are and she said, “Wala pa pong delivery ma’am eh...” Oh, man. It’s not every day that I can just go to SM North so I was disappointed - VERY DISAPPOINTED.

So, when I went back home, I was greeted by my very happy tita who just had her straightened at the nearest Tomi No Haru salon (Santulan, Malabon beside Templora Dermatologica) in our area and she also had her hair colored there. It was a very beautiful natural-looking straightened hair and the color looks really good. So I asked her if they also do hair coloring alone (since Tomi No Haru is a straightening salon) and she said they do. So, I grabbed my purse and phone and went immediately to Tomi No Haru.

The interior wasn’t superb but it was decent and simple. I went in and was greeted by their jolly attendants. I asked how much their hair coloring is and would you believe that it only costs P600.00! Man, I was equally surprised! My tita’s hair looked really great so I didn’t hesitate. I asked for the blonde color and then I’m off!

The whole coloring process lasted for, I think, an hour and half? They told me that the color grabs onto my hair really well so I’m really glad. I’m really praying and hoping that it will result to a lighter shade of blonde than my previous so we let the color stay on my hair a bit long.

Sporting my new hair color. Super LIKE! :)
After the coloring, I’m pretty satisfied with the result. It didn’t dry up my hair, it’s still as bouncy as before and I love the color. Okay, it wasn’t the lightest I’d really want to have but the color was really good. A lot of people have already complimented my hair color and even asked where I had it done and how much it was. They were also pretty surprised that it costs only P600. Prior to this, my last hair coloring session in a salon costs P2000+ and to think I can have a decent professionally done color for only P600, it’s a sweet and awesome deal, right?

I haven’t been very adventurous with my hair now, these past few months. Well it’s because I’m trying to grow my hair now to prepare it for a different look soon. Well, not really very soon, but since my hair grows fast I guess I won’t wait that long. Basta, I have plans for my hair so I’m really resisting the urge to have it cut off or do something crazy with it. It’s quite hard, you see, after seeing Les Miserables and Anne Hathaway’s sexy pixie cut... Damn, I feel like I want a pixie cut too.

How about you, do you ever plan what you’d be doing to your hair or are you as spontaneous as I was? Hahaha! When was the last time you’ve had your hair colored in a salon? Or do you DIY coloring ever since? Share your thoughts at the comments section below!

Till next post! :)

    2. wow that's nice. bihira na lang kasi ang cheap na maganda ang result. kahit hindi airconditioned yung place, it's the result that matters! :)

  7. Ganda, Gel! Medyo ganito ang hair color na gusto ko, mas dark lang ng konti kaysa dito. And really affordable pa ah! I used to think ang hair coloring sa salon would cost at least a thousand pesos :)

    1. Try Tomi No Haru. Ganda ng results and cheap. Not to promote pero na-amaze lang ako kasi ang mura pero it didn't dry up my hair :D Tell them na wag na lang ibabad ng matagal yung color sa hair mo :)

    1. I haven't tried having my hair rebonded there eh so I'd have to be honest. Try a Tomi No Haru salon which is where most of the people I know prefer having their hair rebonded at :)

  10. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SALON! IF POSSIBLE MAGCLOSE NA SILA. PLEASE MGA SIS DO NOT EVER DO THE SAME MISTAKE I DID! Super sira ang hair ko. What's worst is nadamay pa sister ko kasi niyaya ko sya here. My hair is ok prior to going to the salon. I just don't want rebonding. But then ayun this happened. Super sira ang hair namin. Please please please! DO NOT GO TO TOMI NO HARU. It took us 11 hours. 1 lang ang gumagawa. sakit sa likod nakaupo lang sa uncomfortable chair. There was even one client n sya na nagiiron ng hair nya sa sobrang inip. The facility was awful as well. Super not worth it. This is the worst condition my hair has been through. I did not bother going back. I don't have 11 more hours to spare. Naiiyak na nga ako during the process because I thought maximum of 6 hours lang. My babies are left at home and nakiusap lang ako sandali. Then 11 hours!!!! imagine! Then super damaged ang nangyari. Ambait ko pa dun naaawa rin naman ako sa staff. 2 lang sila 1 assitant. grabe and 5 kami. I even gave them a considerable amount of tip kasi wala silang pangkain. However, please lang don't do more damage to people's hair. magsara na lang kayo kung di nyo alam ginagawa nyo. Nakaktrauma e.
