I love standing out. I would sometimes go beyond the normal trends,
which could sometimes be a bit awkward, just so I can flaunt how different I
can and want to be. But there would be times when we just need to step down a
bit and let other people take the lime light. We need to be less selfish
sometimes and just give way.
For this makeup look, I decided to make it look subtle yet
still feminine and classy. I posted an OOTD last time about what I wore during
my sister’s graduation and then I also posted my sister’s makeup look and now,
here’s my makeup look, which I’d love to share to all of you.
Products Used:
Face: SanSan BB Cream | Snoe Fresh Custard Body and Face
Powder in Nectarine Ginger
Tea | Shiseido Bronzer in Dark Fonce | Careline Pimple Concealer with Tea Tree
Oil in Oriental
Eyes: SanSan Kohl Eyeliner in Brown | SanSan Kohl Eyeliner in
Black | Clinique Colour Surge Eyeshadow Duo in Rosewine | Rimmel Colour Rush
Trio Eyeshadow in Orion | Maybelline The Falsies Volum Express Waterproof in
Brownish Black | Ever Bilena Advance HD Colorless Mascara
Lips: Lip Ice Lip Balm in Orange Mandarin | SanSan Creamy
Matte Lipstick in Nude Brown
How I did it:
I used one pump of the SanSan BB Cream at the back of my
hand and using my ring finger I equally distributed it into dots on my face and
blended it using my finger. I’ve been totally into using my fingers these past
few makeup sessions of mine. So after that, I used the Snoe Fresh Custard Body
and Face Powder in Nectarine Ginger Tea to set the BB Cream on my face and then
used the Careline Pimple Concealer with Tea Tree Oil in Oriental for my under
eye area and set it again with the Snoe Fresh Custard Body and Face Powder in Nectarine
Ginger Tea.
Now for my eye makeup, I used the SanSan Kohl Eyeliner in Brown
to fill in my brows and used the Ever Bilena Advance HD Colorless Mascara to
tame it. Now off to the eyeshadow! I used the lighter shade of the Clinique
Colour Surge Eyeshadow Duo in Rosewine for my lids, the darker for the crease
and outer V and the white shade on my Rimmel Colour Rush Trio Eyeshadow in
Orion for my brow bone. Then, I used the SanSan Kohl Eyeliner in Black to put a
thin line on my upper lids and then on my waterline. So, then, off to curling
my lashes using my ever so loved Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler and then used the Maybelline
The Falsies Volum Express Waterproof in Brownish Black.
For the lips, I used the Lip Ice Lip Balm in Orange Mandarin
first then applied the SanSan Creamy Matte Lipstick in Nude Brown on top. Then
I used the Shiseido Bronzer in Dark Fonce on the sides of my nose and on the
line of my cheek bone and swept it up in a sort of crescent shape towards my
ear. Then I used the Careline Pimple Concealer with Tea Tree Oil in Oriental
and applied it on my nose bridge for highlighting purposes. Then, I used the Snoe
Fresh Custard Body and Face Powder in Nectarine Ginger Tea all over my face
again to set the makeup and make the countering less harsh.
I believe that the lip color played a big role in making
this look classy and subtle. Imagine if I put on a bright pink or a deep red
lipstick; it would feel like I was my sister’s mom about to go on stage for her
awards. Hahaha! I’m just the eldest sister after all. I don’t need to look all
glam and fab for another person’s graduation. She needs to be the star and I
need to play the supporting role this time.
