Cynos Morocco Argan Oil

When I first heard about the Argan Oil, I was a bit in doubt because how could such an awesome product exist? It has promises way beyond than that of a politician that’s why I couldn’t help but think of it as a hoax or whatever. At some point, I think it will eventually die down and people will move on to another miracle beauty product. But I guess there would be those rare moments when it may sound like it’s too good to be true but it really is the truth. We just can’t do something about that, right?

The Cynos Morocco Argan Oil also called as the Liquid Gold from Morocco claims to nourish and moisturize your hair and skin. According to an article made by Jayme Barrett at mindbodygreen.com, Argan Oil can become one’s go-to beauty elixir from head to toe. It claims to have vitamins and minerals that promote your overall health by moisturizing, softening and protects our face and hair

Argan Oil presents an exceptional percentage of essential fatty acids, one of which is linoleic acid ensuring the functions of repair and defense of the hair and skin. The essential fatty acids fight against drying, dehydrating and the loss of elasticity which encourage the appearance of wrinkles. Vitamin E protects the cell membranes against lipid oxidation and thus slows down the process of hair and skin aging.

The Good Bits:

First of all, as per the packaging, I can say it’s pretty okay. It dispenses just the right amount of product so there’s zero wastage. The scent of the Argan Oil is so relaxing that it doesn’t just does your skin good but it also relaxes your senses (or at least that’s what does to me). I actually use the Argan Oil on my hair and on my face. It was only recently that I have read that it does help you reduce the visibility of stretch marks (which apparently I earned through losing weight) and helps you deal with calluses as well. Since I started jogging/running/walking in UP, I’ve had that problem so thank God for Argan Oil, eh? I love how it’s an all-in-one product considering the fact that it's also really inexpensive. For around PhP 700.00 you get 50mL of this beauty elixir. Very worth it, right? When I used it on my hair and face it looks way too moisturized but after a few minutes, my skin and hair were able to absorb the vitamins and nutrients of the product that it doesn’t look oily anymore. Magical, don’t you think?

It has helped keep my hair moisturized while being soft and bouncy at the same time. There would be times when my hair would look too flat or straight because of too much moisturizing but the Argan Oil does it so well. As for my face it has becoming smoother and my dark acne scars/spots have slowly been lightening. I now do light to medium coverage in doing my foundation/bb cream routine because I’m pretty proud of the result of the the Argan Oil.

The Bad Bits:

Although I love the fact that it comes with a pump (and, yes, the pump is sealable with just a few twist) I still wished it comes with cap. And, yes, you can use it on your hair and on your body and although I use it on my face, and yes you can use it on your face, it isn’t recommended for people with sensitive skin (to apply on the face at least).

Over-All:

Once my Argan Oil runs out, I’d definitely buy a new bottle from Cynos. I would be giving this holy grail product a rating of 10/10. Every girl needs it in her beauty kit. Need I say more?

  7. I have been using argan oil in my cooking for the last 3 years but have never dared just put it neat on my skin! Will give it a whirl - not sure if there are any other additives in your product that could stop you eating it, but it's great in salad dressings if not!
