FOTD: Voting for the Future of our Country

May 13 2013 – I casted my vote and I’m hoping for the best.

We didn’t wake up early because we were expecting that there’d be less people who would be voting in the afternoon. Well, in my mom’s case, there were less people in her polling precinct while the case was different with me and my sister’s. One PCOS machine for six precincts – that was how things were in ours. But thanks God I survived and I was able to cast my vote.

Now, let me share with you the makeup look I had for the Election Day. I opted for a natural and neutral look and kept things light and fresh. So now, let’s begin!

LIPS: Lip Ice Lip Balm in Orange Mandarin | NYX Liquid Lipshine in Fashion Ave Fuchsia

HOW I DID IT:

First, I used my finger to apply the SanSan BB Cream all over my face and then used the Snoe Fresh Custard Body and Face Powder in Nectarine Ginger Tea. For my blush, I lightly swiped my blush brush on the Ever Bilena Cheek Blush in Cheek, since it could get really pigmented, and then brushed on my cheek bone going slightly upward to give it the slimming illusion. Remember that we need to be careful in putting our blushes on. We want to have a natural looking blush not look use the clown as our peg. Haha!

For the eyes, I used the Ever Bilena Color Pencil in Brown to fill in my brows and the Ever Bilena Advance HD Colorless Mascara to tame ‘em down. For my eye color, I used the lighter brown shade on my lids, the darker brown shade on my crease area and the white shade on my brow bone. Then, I used the SanSan Waterproof Eyeliner Pen in Brown to line my lids and the SanSan Kohl Eyeliner in Brown for my waterline. Afterwards, I curled my lashes and used the Maybelline The Falsies Volum Express Waterproof in Brownish Black.

For my lips, I just used the Lip Ice Lip Balm in Orange Mandarin and then topped it with the NYX Liquid Lipshine in Fashion Ave Fuchsia.

This can be an everyday look as well as I’ve chosen to do this because I know that it’ll be on helluva hot afternoon while voting and I wasn’t wrong! Good thing this makeup look is just really light, didn’t use the foundation cream for a more flawless finish because it will be too heavy on my face.
