Missed the ZAP Crawl; but Nevertheless...

And I hate it when I have to miss such awesome events.

 

I was one of those invited to attend the ZAP Crawl BGC on November 16, 2013 but sadly, I wasn’t able to attend. Seeing the live tweets of some of my blogger friends and the pictures, which the ZAP team has shared to me via email made me regret not making it; but just because I wasn’t able to attend doesn’t mean I can’t share you guys what happened and I can’t tell you how unique and awesome ZAP is!

Let’s start with: What is ZAP?

I don’t think I have the heart yet to throw out all my lifestyle/loyalty/reward cards but with what ZAP did, thank God they’re not just another card, but more of a rewards and loyalty platform offering 2%-15% cash back which can be accumulated and used to purchase anything across the ZAP network, similar with credit card rebates, shoppers accumulate more points as they spend more at partner merchants; and the best part is it’s not a card but a smart sticker that you can stick to your phone and have it with you at all times accepted at over 200 establishments in the Metro!

The event started at Naci Comfort Food and the bloggers were welcomed by the ZAP team and event host, Inez Achacoso. And lucky, lucky attendees! They tried out the recommended dishes by co-owners, Natasha Villaroman and Nadine Nocom.

The next stop was at the Wink Laser and Wax Studio. I have been hearing a lot of raves with regard to this waxing place and, I bet, you know me. I love trying out new things especially if they are vanity related! Go lang! Someone was treated for a FREE eyebrow wax and each blogger attendee received a discount voucher, which they can use on their next appointment. But fret not, if you’re a ZAPtag holder you get a regular 5% cash back on laser and waxing services except for packages.

Third stop was at the Urban Ashram Manila. Bloggers were oriented with regard to the benefits of yoga by studio manager, Lexi Payumo. The bloggers received omplimentary one-week passes to try out Urban Ashram Manila on their own time. Meanwhile, ZAPtag enrollees get 10%-20% cash back on yoga classes.

And last, but not the least, bloggers were treated at Slice – ZAP’s newest partner merchant. Mouthwatering cupcakes and sweets were up for grabs as bloggers used their points to purchase their treats on top of getting 5% cash back! Oh my, what a sweet treat that I miss!
