I miss college. My four years in college is what I can
consider as the best four years of my studying life. Don't get me wrong, I
enjoyed highschool (as some would say it's what they miss more) but it was in
college that I was able to figure out who I really am. In college, I met new
friends, who may all be very different in many awesome and crazy ways, but
compliments my personality well. It was, also, in college that I was able to
understand what it is that I would like to do with my life.
Even though I went to an ex-all girls' university for my
college degree, I wasn't able to fully embrace the concept of putting makeup on
although most of my classmates do use
makeup. But, if ever, I'd be given a chance to relive my college days, with my
current love for putting makeup on, this is the makeup look that I'd, probably,
have most of the time.

HOW I DID IT:
I started off with applying the foundation, using my
fingers, all over my face in dots and blending it still using my trusted
fingers. I, then, used a few more and added a few dots of foundation on my
under eye area to, subtly, hide my dark under eye. Then, I topped and set the
foundation with the ELF Studio Pressed Powder in Almond and brushed a subtle
blush using my NYC Cheek Glow Powder Blush in West Side Wine.
For the eyes, I started off with filling in my brows first
and then proceeding to the eye color. Remember, this is a good-for-school
makeup look so we don't need to be all colorful and overly done. I used the
SanSan CYO Eyeshadow in Water Terra Cotta all over my lids and the for my
crease area. I tried to make the eye makeup very because you won't need and it
will be inappropriate to wear a too-heavy eye makeup look at school. Keep it
simple, light and young. After that, I used the SanSan Gel Eyeliner in Brown
for my upper lid, the SanSan Kohl Eyeliner in Black on my waterline, but only a
quarter of it so as not to look too dark but more of to make your eyes pop out
a bit, and, after curling my lashes, I used the Clinique High Impact Mascara in
Black.
For the lips, I opted for a touch of subtle pink by applying
the Crazy Rumors Lip Balm in Peppermint Twist first to keep it moisturized and
the Snoe Rouge Deluxe Lipstick in Precious Pout for the simple and youthful
touch of pink on the lips.
Great make up sis. Thanks for sharing all of these. So look really young here.

DeleteHi Gellie,,
ReplyDeleteCan you give me a tips? by creating a short and sweet routine to highlight my best features in the least amount of time possible. As a working mom, children and office works become my focus, almost everything else seems to go by the wayside-including my beauty routine. While I might not have 30 minutes to spare anymore in order to put together a flawlessly made-up face, i want to look best when I'm leaving the house. Please.. Thank you Gellie...
Hello Anne, sure thing. I will post a 5-10 minute makeup look which I do whenever I'm in a hurry and it will give you that fresh and subtle made up look :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Gellie. I'm excited for that ^_^
